WWYD present opening
BabyCrushing and I were visiting some of DH's family today. They gave me a christmas gift for her. I said thank you, but I didn't open it. Now I am wondering if I should have. I always feel awkward about these types of present giving situations.

Hmm, I guess you could have asked if they wanted you to open it then or save it for Christmas. If that didn't occur to me at the time, I would have done the same as you and assumed I should save it for the holiday.
Either way, don't sweat it. NBD at all.

And I agree with everyone else, CDC, I think it's fine that you didn't open it. I'm totally awkward in situations like that. I hate opening gifts in front of people.
