I am not sure what is going on with today but 3 really awesome things have happened.

1. We managed to book flights home to Australia for Otto and I in Jan for only $500!

2. DH just got a really good bonus and has been singled out for extra due to being such a great asset to the company.

3. We just found out that the company will cover the birth of our second child in either Singapore or Australia after the insurance said I had to give birth in Jakarta or they wouldn't cover it.

Seriously brilliant day.

That is great news! Are you planning on going back to Oz to give birth? We met a couple in H's line of work who live in Jakarta and she had gone back to Melbourne for both her deliveries. I'd never thought about it before, but now hear about it quite often for people living in Indonesia and the Philippines.

Yeah, most people head home or to Singapore, I will probably head to Singapore, if I go home it is at least 3 months away from DH which is too long for me and for Otto, plus the idea of living in my mothers house for that long with a toddler and newborn is already making me crazy!

The pre natal care here is just as good as home, but the post natal care and also the risks if the baby is born with a complication just isn't worth it.
