Tuesday Accountability

How's everyone doing?

I finally got the scale to move! After being stuck for the past 6 weeks, I am down 2 pounds this week. This weekend I finally met my "I can't go shopping again until I reach this number" goal, so to celebrate, I went shopping! I bought new jeans at Old Navy in a size 10. I mean, it's Old Navy, so it hardly counts, but still! I was thrilled. Still am. I also got a few new shirts, sweaters, and another dress. I'm buying my shirts now in a size medium and it just blows my mind. I feel like a new person. 10 lbs to go until I am "normal" weight and will allow myself another shopping trip.

    This is so awesome. Congrats!

I gained a pound this week but WW considers +/- 2 pounds maintenance so I'm okay with that. I've now done the 30 day shred 3 times and I'm determined to keep going.

  • I haven't been participating since I really haven't cared to step on the scale, but yesterday I was down almost 2 lbs from the last time I looked. Last week was my first 40+ mile week in a long time and I think that might be it. A lot of articles I've read about people complaining that they don't lose weight while running/training have said that getting mileage up over 40 usually helps.

I'm scheduled to have a 47 mile week this week, so we'll see what the scale says on Monday.

  • I'm doing okay sticking to WW. We'll see.
  • I had beer, wings & ice cream last night. Fail.

  • I had a cupcake Sunday night and  carrot cake last night. AF is here and I'm giving in to the late night sweet cravings. Jodippls and I are supposed to be doing c25k, but I've been slacking, which sucks since I felt so good last week. Through all of it though, I'm maintaining my lowest weight so far, which I'm loving.

  • I didn't eat so great this weekend but I was super busy too. I have no idea what my weight is since the last time I checked.
  • I'm up .2 lbs but I don't really count that. I ate like crap this past weekend so maintaining last week is good. I had DH move my treadmill back to our bedroom and I walked a mile last night. It's not much but some activity is better than none. I really need to get in the groove for C25K since my first 5k is less than 2 months away. Aunt Flo will be here this week so I'm sure it will be a struggle to eat right but I can do it.

You're doing so awesome! I dream of a day I can wear a medium shirt. I'm going to have to lose a lot of boobage for that to happen.

How's WW going? Are you still tracking? I used my weekly points (and activity points) way too early into my tracking week this time. I have to be really strict until Friday when my points reset.

I'm still tracking and it's going well. I don't track activity points at all. My WW leader suggests not using them unless you know you need the extra points for a specific occasion. With the exception of my crap eating on last week's tracking I've done really well staying within my daily points and not using all of my weekly. I'm probably being a lot more strict than I need to be but it's hard for me to get back on the wagon after eating Five Guys or something similar.

I actually had quite a bit of shrinkage in that area after I went off BCP. Coincidence? I have no idea.

  • I really feel like I'm back on the right track. I haven't had soda in a week and feel SO much better just from that. We haven't eaten out either (which makes not having soda easier!), so I'm starting to feel like myself again. Hasn't been too much gym action with photo holiday madness, but I've been taking time to decorate inside and out, so I'm at least being vaguely active. lol. I am staying away from the scale because I don't want to be disheartened if this hasn't translated into any weight loss yet.

  • I haven't stepped on the scale in weeks. I put it in the closet for a showing and need to pull it back out.
