Finally thought of question so I can start the thread :-)
Good morning, everyone! What's on the agenda today?
QOTD: What would be the worst job for you personally?

Re: Good morning!
I don't have too much going on, but I have tons to do around the house to get ready for our flight on Saturday.
QOTD: Flight attendant, hands down. I'm terrified of flying and think being a pilot would be alright because then at least I would know what was going on and would have some degree of control over what happened. But a flight attendant? Horrible hours, horrible (sometimes) customers, and a constant fear of crashing. No, thank you.
Morning! I woke up to a burst water main today. No shower for me. *sob*
QOTD: Probably something to do with slaughtering animals, dealing with people in severe pain, or anything involving a battlefield/genocide in person.
And I would suck at a whole lot of other things too, including fixing a burst water main, so I suppose I should be grateful we all have such diverse talents and interests.
Don't want to go to bed since I have too much on my mind. I'm suppose to be up at 8am so I can drive to visit a college. I'm so overwhelmed by all the college stuff. I'm ready to pack up and finish where I started even if it makes me a commuter wife.
QOTD: Plumer or a waiter. I hate bathrooms and I don't like looking at people's hld eaten food.

Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
Morning everyone! A toasty day here indeed...every heater is on in the house and I have my little space heater pointed at me while I work. Sigh...warmth.
QOTD: I'm with Kelly - Flight Attendant all the way. I hate flying as well...and something tells me that the flight attendant that is panicking and hyperventalating while panting to herself "omg, we're all going to die" doesn't really inspire confidence.
In addition - I'd also be a super shytty math teacher, since apparently pre-algebra is beyond me. But hey! I can long divide like a BOSS!
Good morning! I'm drowning in statistics for my project today. I actually like statistics, but my data are so freaking confusing, I'm sitting here talking to my computer trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, the computer is not helping me very much! But it does help to verbalize it.
QOTD: anything where you just sit still at a desk all day. Or a bus driver, I think that would be torture for me. Drive the same routes over and over and over day in and day out? all alone up there in the driver's seat? no thank you.
Hi all.
Today was not good. Between H and the dog I got about 1.5 hrs of sleep last night and had to get up at 2:30 AM to be to work by 3:45 AM. I worked until 12:30 and came home from work to find:
No windows open in the house
the inside temp at 30C and 70% humidity
the dog had drooled everywhere
the door to the spare room was open
the dog had dragged out a few select items from the spare room to chew up (DH knows she does this and still left the door open!)
that the dog had also pooped and peed in the spare room.
the whole house smelled like dog poop that had been left sitting in 30 C heat for several hours.
H got quite the phone call. Thankfully he was on shore today and was able to say "go turn on the AC in the bedroom and take a nap I'll be home in 30 minutes". So I cleaned up the poop and went to bed. He got to deal with the smell and rest and of the clean up.
Tomorrow has to be better, right?
Good morning. I'm in NY this week, and the jetlag is getting me up pretty early, but it's not so bad to start the days early. I'm going into the office today, and then DH and I are meeting up for sushi dinner and then a show. I'm looking forward to a nice date night in the city.
QOTD: Probably a teacher. I would love to be able to be one, as I think it is such an important job, but I get nervous about public speaking, and I am the worst at explaining things and being patient.

Good morning/afternoon. I need to do some packing today and head out to do a bit of Christmas shopping.
QOTD: Waitress. I was a banquet server at a very posh hotel for a few months, and I hated it. The attitude of the chefs was so superior and customers can be so outrageously rude. I have a hard time with a lot of chefs (not all) who think that their creation is the be all and end all. It's food, you cooked it. You are not God. I had a really hard time not going off on the chefs way too often.
I am admittedly not a foodie, but as long as the food tastes good and it clean, then I'm happy.
Good late afternoon. Nothing on the agenda this evening, just did morning cardio - dropped off the car for snow tires, worked - did weights at lunch with DH, and am looking forward to an evening at home editing photos and working on our to do list. It feels great to get things checked off!
QOTD: Probably anything with blood or needles - I hate them both! Or, anything involving sewage. This statement just made me think of the person who has to dump out and clean porta-pottys. Is that a real job?
We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!
