I have done salt dough ornaments in the past and we painted them and sealed them. I did some with my LOs hand and foot prints and I am trying to decide if I should leave them as is and just seal them OR if I should paint them a solid color (white?) and then seal them. WWYD?

I think they look nice all one color as opposed to multiple colors on each ornament.
I kind of like them natural (w/sealer), but I think if you used a pearlized paint it might make them look kind of like they were clay that was fired and glazed, and that could be really pretty.
Ooh! I hadn't thought about pearlized paint. That might work too!
TBH, this is the second batch I did. The first dough wasn't the right consistency, but I did them anyway and painted them white. I thought I would try again last night and I like these a lot better. I wasn't loving the all painted white look, so that is why I am trying to figure out what is best for this batch.
