I have another package from Amazon.com that is MIA. The tracking info says it was delivered, it was not. I also had a package go missing back in September, that time it took the scenic route from Georgia to Texas (seriously according to the tracking info it stopped like 12 times) then it simply disappeared from a UPS facility.

My big boy is bounding towards 3! Hoping to add a sibling.

Hipster dog is not impressed.
Re: Poll: Amazon.com Orders
This happened to me for the first time this week. I order from amazon all the freaking time so it is amazing it hasn't happened more often. It turned out though that UPS delivered to a house around the corner from us. They were nice enough to bring it to me.
Now. I have terrible luck ordering things from other places. My last Gymboree order had half of the things stolen from it. Other places take way longer to ship than they say. Always a crapshoot.
I've never had a problem (knock on wood), but I have noticed that the last few orders that were delivered were not on UPS trucks. They were delivered by people in regular cars. I think they have contract workers or regular UPS delivery people in regular cars picking up extra holiday shifts to deliver smaller items. It was weird.

Oh, I have had problems with USPS in the past. Luckily almost everything comes via UPS now, but when we had problems Amazon was very helpful. Hope you get your package soon!

The only time I had an issue with Amazon shipping was when I tried to send something to my nephew. They never got it. (Turns out it was my brother not going down to the mail room in time and after the packages sat there forever I guess the mail guy sent it back or something).
Amazon customer service was so helpful, they apologized and sent me a new one to my address with free 1 day shipping.
One time I ordered and never got a package of diapers. They refunded my money and sent me a new box with 1 day shipping. 2 days later the original box showed up in my garage, it must have gone to one of my neighbors instead.

This gives me hope, I have an email in to their customer service department, I'm just waiting to hear back. When it happened back in September, the item I bought was through an independent amazon seller, and the seller was a painintheass about it. So much so that I finally just cancelled the order and had them refund my money and bought the item elsewhere.
This...I've had countless issues with both sending and receiving USPS shipments, in general. If I have the option of choosing the freight carrier for an order - I never ever ever pick the postal service anymore. I've never had a problem on Amazon's end. I hope your package turns up soon - this sort of thing is always so frustrating!
I voted I've never had a problem but when DH and I were dating he ordered me a "intimate" gift from amazon and had it delivered to his dad's house where he was staying for christmas. He never saw it arrive. Knowing his dad I'm sure he would have just opened it and kept it (ewwwwwwww. and I don't know why DH thought any of this, the gift when we were dating or shipping it to his dads was a good idea). And now that I'm thinking about it, if I gave a crap what those people thought of me I would be horrified that they thought he ordered it for me when they met me the first time.
so many things wrong with that story. and so totally out of character for DH too.
so who knows if Amazon really delivered that one.
