Re: Tell me about your favorite
ooooh me too! I can't choose a favorite though, sorry.
I love all things chocolatey and not too sugary sweet.
So maybe a flourless chocolate cake? Or a dark chocolate torte with caramel and nuts? Or perhaps chocolate mousse with chocolate shavings? Or that awesome chocolate peanut butter cake I made a month or two ago.
OMG now I'm starving you hor!
I'd trade you sexual favors for any of those.
Molten chocolate cake with fresh raspberries. drools
Chocolate peanut butter anything.
A place near me makes a peanut butter stuffed chocolate lava cake. It's heaven. I will order it with the false promise to share. I do not share.
Also, Godiva cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.
My mom makes amazing cheesecake, but I will only eat hers.
Usually I go for chocolate. Smooth creamy decadent chocolate.
Cherry or strawberry cheesecake.
Or peanut butter creme brulee.
*droooooool*
I will be waiting at the front door wrapped in a bow and holding that cake. what time are you getting here?
Favorite dessert? As in singular? Unless it was a sampler plate, I'd be unable to answer. Said sampler plate would include (but not be limited to):
lemon meringue pie, pumpkin cheesecake, flan, chocolate cheesecake, white chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies, Edy's peppermint stick ice cream with caramel sauce, eclairs, creme brulee, and banana cream pie.
I reserve the right to amend my response.
Or my friend's homemade peanut butter cups, which she makes for her Christmas party every year, said party being this weekend, so yay.
And I'm eating myself sick on chocolate dipped candied citrus peel I'm making for Christmas gifts.
I'll be there in 2 hours. I just need to attach my jet pack.
This cannot be done.
However, I can eliminate all cheesecakes, tiramisu, ice cream, and basically anything containing copious amounts of dairy. Mah lactose intolerance deems these desserts unacceptable.
Currently, my favorite is the spumoni cake that I made for a friend's work party last month. OMG was it good... and it was my first time making it too. Given enough time to tweak and play with the recipe, that sucker will be amazing.

My favorite special occasion dessert is apple pie.
My favorite everyday dessert is an ice cream sandwich. Because the little dude is obsessed with "ifreams" these are always in stock and available to me at Casa Dude. It's dangerous.
I bake...a lot, so this is nearly impossible for me to answer.
Cheesecake is probably my favorite dessert, but I also have a serious chocolate addiction. So chocolate cake with my chocolate ganache, fresh raspberry filling and raspberry buttercream frosting. drooooooooooooooooooool
Honestly, it's always been one of my favorite ice cream/sauce combinations (not nec the Edy's brand specifically, but this year this flavor is particularly enticing.)
I have 3:
Coconut cake made with sweetened condensed milk poured over it after it comes out of the oven. Then iced with Cool Whip and coconut.
Red Velvet Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.
Hot, fresh, glazed Krispy Kreme Donuts.
