Do you normally have ?backup gifts? for people you forgot about or that gave you a gift and weren?t expecting it?
If so what do you have on back up?
Re: Back Up Gifts
Sorry for sounding stupid, but I've never done this before and would feel awkward saying "oh, I left yours at home"...
Getting back to it- my diet and exercise blog
Losing it...Without Losing it
I really dont know! extra big purse, or say oooh left it in the trunk... I've never done the spare gift either, but I've been there with a gift and nothing to give, felt like a tool.
I always make sure to buy something small enough to fit in my purse so then I can have it on me if I get the feeling the person may have something for me. Then if they don't have anything no harm done and they never know I had something on me.
I could definitely see this being a concern in certain situations, like if you had to walk right in to the party/celebration and put all your gifts under the tree or something. Luckily in the situations in which I've had to "whip" out a gift it wasn't a big deal to say something to DH like "Honey, where is the gift for so and so? Ohhh, it's still in the bag!" lol
This. and boxed Chocolate.
If I ever end up not giving them as gifts, I use it for myself. [:
