explain peppermint bark.

I could probably google this but I am feeling waaaayyyyyy to lazy to do that tonight.  What is it, is it really that good and is it hard to make?

Peppermint bark is basically melted chocolate with chunks of crushed peppermint candy in it. I think it's good, but it's not fantastic. No, it's not hard to make.

ETA: Melt chocolate in a double boiler, pour it on a parchment paper lined pan (greased), throw some crushed candy on top and wait for it to cool. Break into pieces and eat.

This plus I stir in about 1/2 tsp peppermint extract in the chocolate.

I love peppermint/mint and chocolate flavors together.  One of my favorites as you can tell.

The fact that I actually found some peppermint bark here was so nice.  I don't absolutely love it, but it is nice to have some pepperment at Christmas.  If I see candy canes here, 8 out of 10 times they are strawberry flavoured.  And melted in hot milk is awesome to get rid of pregnancy heartburn.

Thanks, I seem to be getting exposed to a lot more American things living here and people keep talking about it.  I might have to actually stop being so lazy and make some for DH, he loves mint flavoured things, I personally could leave it.
