Third Person Thursday
Shelley is starting this early in hopes that people will sign on and Dani will have some entertainment since she can't be on FB.
Shelley is happy that there was no snow this morning. The forecast was for 1-3 inches. Shelley wasn't thrilled with the thunderstorm at 3am though.
Shelley should have all her filing done by lunch if things go well. Since Shelley went out on maternity leave sooner than she expected she left her office like it was any other day and things have been non-stop since she came back.
Shelley is ready for the weekend even though she won't get any more sleep than she does during the week since her DH is working all weekend.
Shelley may take a 1/2 day on Monday so her and her DH can have some alone time. They haven't had any since they went to dinner for their anniversary back in October.

Summer is sorry it's been non-stop for Shelley since she's been back. The positive is that if Shelly is busy it is less time to think about missing her baby.
Summer is glad it is her Friday. She is starting to worry about being off the last week of the month because there is a lot of stuff happening that week and she might be needed.
Summer is glad there was no snow here to make the roads a mess. They were calling for flurries and that can turn this place crazy.
Brie is so glad that it's almost the weekend. Even though it's going to be busy, she's totally ready. Brie only has one meeting today- a presentation of a project proposal at noon. It should take 15 minutes at the most. Then Brie can come back to her desk and continue being productive.
Brie handed in one of the three final projects due for her and her team by Sunday last night. Everyone signed off, and was pretty impressed with the job Brie did- it was a presentation, totally in Brie's design element. Hopefully the prof likes it just as much. Brie was actually asked for some last minute help with one of the other team's presentations- felt really good to be thought of as an expert.
Brie goes in to see a nurse practitioner next Friday for a thyroid consultation. She's already a little nervous.

Stacey is so excited for her Ugly Christmas Sweater party tomorrow, but since she runs on limited energy at night, she has a TON to do at her house before tomorrow.
Stacey is also sorry Shelly's been going non-stop. She imagines that's really hard! Stacey thinks she should totally take the 1/2 day Monday.
Teresa is excited it's supposed to snow today. Though she knows it's only going to be flurries and it won't stick.
One of the tv's in Teresa's department is playing "A Christmas Story" currently. It makes her happy to listen to that in the background.
Teresa will probably gain 10 pounds today from all the food she is eating at the department Holiday Party.

Shaina is looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Shaina is thankful for the cold weather coming in so her DH won't be outside working on non-important things.
Shaina is planning a big clean/purge this weekend and a big end of year donation to Goodwill.

Dani is feeling incredibly overwhelmed by the holidays. She never knows what to get people for Christmas. On top of trying to get ready for Christmas, Dani needs to buckle down and plan her sister's baby shower, which is mid-Jan. Dani is stumped on what to get her sister as a present. Dani is not very crafty but feels like buying something isn't special.
Summer totally agrees with the first part. She NEVER knows what to get people and hates feeling forced to think of something just to get something. She has to buy for Nick, work SS, FIL, MIL, SMIL, SIL. Summer will try to think of something Dani could do for her sister. Does Dani's sister know if the baby is a girl or boy?

Tania's new desk for the office is arriving tomorrow so she has a lot of work to do in the next couple of days to get the office organized. She has hated living in chaos!

Mar is currently watching a rerun of Teen Mom 2, while Felicity and Damian sleep on the couch next to her.
Mar has gotten a lot accomplished so far today but feels like nothing has been done at all. She doesn't like that feeling. She's really excited about the finger painted ornaments Felicity did, they turned out much better than she was anticipating.

Kate is tired and does not feel well. She woke up this morning with her left ear in pain. She stopped by the nurses office at school and the nurse could not even fit the scope in Kate's ear it was so swollen. But Kate can't get an appointment till tomorrow with her doctor so she will keep taking advil and wait.
Kate is really needing Dec. 16th to get here so she can start winter break. She has been going non-stop and is ready to slow down for a bit. Granted, there will be a ton of book reviews to grade, but at least Kate can set her own pace for 2 weeks.
Finally Kate is looking forward to the ICE gtg.
This makes Shelley so excited for Laura! Shelley is sending vibes Laura's way.
