I dont get to post often, just with this time of year and everything going on my family and I could use some extra thoughts and prayers. My brother and his wife are on hard times due to their lack of good judgement and may lose custody of their 2 wonderful boys. I have been talking to human services and will be taking the boys if that need arises. Which from the sounds of it could be as soon as this fri or by the end of the month. I have of my own a 9,8 and 20 month old and will be taking on a 2 1/2 and 6 month old. Luckily I have quite a few things that work for the 6 month old other than clothes and diapers. However am watching craigslist for the 2 1/2 yr old since I got rid of my sons things thinking we were not having more kids and didnt have the space. I am thankful and greatful for my nephews and they do not deserve the lives they have been living and will take them in as long as needed. I love them and my wonderful husband and 2 older kids completely agree this is the right thing to do no matter how hard it maybe..Thank you for listening every1 hope you have a great day.

And God bless the families who are there to take in these kids so that they don't have to go into foster care. Thank you for being there for them. If you ever have any questions about the process or your rights once they are with you please don't hesitate to send me a PM. :- )

I thought I had my hands full! I think what you're doing is wonderful and such an amazing thing. If you ever need someone to talk to or to take a couple of kids out for a few hours let me know.
ETA: What are you looking for for the 2 1/2 year old? I bet I have some stuff that would work!

The boys will be coming to me with what they are wearing, so clothes sizes 4t and up for the 2 1/2 year old and 12months and up for the 6 month old. They are big boys, I am in the process of buying a toddler bed I am hoping from craigslist. Found a great deal just have to find the finances. Its not much so should be ok, also bedding and toys.. I have some and will make it all work with what I have if needed,thank you everyone this is all new to me. I took care of my father when he was dying in 2007 so now taking on kids is a whole new ball game. I have kids and am very happy I can do this but am scrambling trying to find out everything I need to do and get. I appreciate your thoughts prayers and juju for my family and those wonderful boys.
ps I would love to meet ect some new friends anytime..
