ETA - I do feel bad that it happened so far into her pregnancy.

I was just coming on to post this too.  It is really sad, especially so far into her pregnancy.  I think you're right though, might be time to think about being done with babies.

It is sad. I was reading further and it said she miscarried her second pg as well, when she was on oral BCP? WTF? Why was she on BC when she was pregnant? They cite that as a reason they are leaving it all "up to God" now, but still. Makes no sense to me.

I understood it as she was BC to space her children, and when she went off BC to TTC she had a miscarriage and blamed it on the fact that she had taken BCP prior.  That's how they made it seem when they explained it on the show.

Ah. That clarifies things. It is still silly, but at least I understand their thought process.

I feel very sad for them and can't imagine that loss. I also think they should probably stop there but I'm not sure if it were me that I'd be able to just suddenly be done with having kids when I had thought another was on the way. I'm concerned for her though that she'll keep trying and not be able to have any more healthy successful pregnancies.

I'm really really sad for them.  Regardless of what number the child was, or what trimester Michelle was in, the fact is that two parents just lost a baby.

Just sad, no matter how old someone is or how many kids they already have.  My prayers are with them.
