I can't say that I'm heartbroken over this move (our offense was pretty craptastic under CW), but I was looking for some stability going into a big recruiting period, not to mention next season.

Yeah, wow.

Stability is pretty important...but I think it'll be worth it in the long run.

Funny, I mentioned this to DH and he said that when Weis was the OC for the Kansas City Chiefs, Weis would complain about how he hated living in Kansas City. I haven't been there, but I can't imagine Lawrence would be much better!

Someone sent a Tweet yesterday that said "Charlie Weis: Keeping all food establishments in Lawrence in business since 2011." That was the first I heard about him going to KU. :P

I was surprised by the move. It'll be interesting to see how this all goes.

Yes, Kansas City BBQ is the bomb. But Lawrence is a 45 minute drive from Kansas City and it's not my K-State bias to say that Lawrence is kind of a crappy town. Manhattan might be in the middle of nowhere, but I like it better. (Still not my bias since I don't live in either city.)
