OK it looks like I'm going to be taking Cooper to see Santa by myself this year, which means there's no way I can wrangle him in the hour long line we waited in last year... so...
[Poll]
My big boy is bounding towards 3! Hoping to add a sibling.

Hipster dog is not impressed.
Re: Poll: Mall Santa
I voted Sunday morning, first thing just because I think (hope??) some people would be at church so there might be a shorter line?
I have no scientific reasoning for that, just a thought.
This is my reasoning also.
That was my initial plan and reasoning, but then I wondered if one of the other two times might be better. I don't go in the mall very often (read: at all) except to take Cooper to the play area on weekends but we always go around 8:30 or 9 before any stores are open--- and not at Christmas time!
We've had the best luck on weekday afternoons (4-6 pm)....no line, extra time with Santa, more time to take pics, etc. Last year, DH took the girls on a weekend morning -- he got there before opening and still found a 1 hr+ long line.
Oh. Well then there's that. Maybe try to go tomorrow and if the line is hellish you have a backup plan?
I took Monday off work to taken Evan there to see Santa. If you are planning to go in the morning, just be sure to check the mall web site for Santa's hours because the mall opened at 10, but Santa didn't arrive until 11. Luckily I knew that but there were some pretty wrestless kids who had been in line a long time.
Oh, and by noon there wasn't anyone in line. Maybe because it was Monday.
Good luck!

I voted Sunday because some people will be going to church that day.
I took Kyle to see Santa last Sunday at the Galleria. We arrived 20 minutes before Santa started seeing people and there were maybe 10 people in front of us. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes.
On a side note, I heard Berings has a great Santa and the pictures are free with short lines.
