What is the last cute thing your DH/SO did for you?
Re: What is the last cute thing your DH/SO did for you?
Only thing that comes to mind was almost a year ago. He cut out paper letters and taped them together to make a banner that said "Happy birthday my love!" and hung it across the living room when I came home from work on my birthday in January.
He sometimes does smaller things too though like sending me a text that says I love you, or stopping on his way home and picking up takeout so I don't have to cook.
He sent me an email yesterday telling me he was leaving work, and in it he called me his sweet lady.
On a larger scale, last week he bought expensive plane tickets to come see me and my family that he doesn't know for Christmas.
DH turned my 30th Birthday into the Week of Coffee&Cream. We arranged for us to go to the Rtiz for afternoon tea, dinner with Rpics and her DH, our trip to Munich and has arranged for a couples massage at the hotel where we got married when we are home for Christmas. That was a completely unexpected gesture.
I had a user guide complete with a hand-written love letter and an envolope for each day of the week. Too sweet.
More recently, he hunted the city for the perfect chocolates for our advent calendar, because he knows I love our advent calendar.
He did the dishes last night. But it is the unexpected flowers that he brings home from time to time that always make me swoon.
But a couple of weeks ago I was losing it because of being with DS with no break, so he said, "What do you need? I will watch DH all day, and you go and do something you want to do."
Awesome! I meant to ask you what the other suprises were.
I hurt my back a couple of days ago, bad enough that it's hard to move off the couch.
DH has been handling almost all of the baby duties, running me hot showers, heating up my rice heat pack, making me tea, cooking dinner (!) and giving me massages. Things like this are rare, so I'm loving all of the attention.
He called the rabbi about getting a Jewish divorce and we had a very good phone call that provided some closure last Friday.
More like "what's the last non-douchey thing XH did for you" but I wanted to participate

He bragged about how awesome his wife is to his co-worker and his co-worker let all the mushy things he said slip at his holiday party the other night. He really appreciates the little things I do for him and let's me know how much it means to him.

My DH has been in hospital since the beginning of October. One night a few weeks ago after I'd been at the hospital all day with him he ordered me a pizza to be delivered at home after I got there just to be sweet because he knew I wouldn't feel like making anything to eat that night.
And yesterday while I was sitting right next to him he sent me a text message that said something along the lines of "Love you and couldn't do this without you." That one made me tear up. He often sends me sweet or silly text messages full of inside jokes.
