F/U: Fancy Hotels...outside the loop?
Hi everyone,
I posted last week or so asking about your favorite fancy hotel ITL. DH asked me to expand the search criteria. :-) So, what's your favorite fancy hotel outside the loop, including W & NW Houston but not S/SE/SW (to far).
And what do y'all think about Intercontinental?

I have only been in the lobby at the Sorella and its gorgeous, a friend of mine that has stayed there said the rooms are really nice
I also agree about the Avia, really nice and walking distance to shops, food, etc rooms and lobby are very nice and modern

How far outside the loop? Technically InterContinental Houston is outside the loop, but you could throw a rock and hit the loop! Nice place though.
