60th Birthday Party Ideas

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'll try it here.

I'm throwing a suprise party for my dad at the end of December and I'm trying to come up with a few fun games - not games that everyone has to sit down at a table with paper etc.

The ones I thought of were to put old pictures of a few babies and then they guess who is my dad.  The second one is put ketchup packets in a bottle and guess who many are in there.

What are your thoughts on them?  Any other ideas out there?  Thanks for your help!

Re: 60th Birthday Party Ideas

  • The baby picture is a cute idea.  Is your dad into ketchup?  Because that seems like an odd thing to count if it's not something he's really into.  Maybe some sort of trivia game?

Yes he eats ketchup daily.  Everyone knows this so it would be gotten very easily.

  • I would see if there are some games from 1951 to play. Or trivia games where the answers are 1950's. I googled part games 1950 and got these that look interesting.

For milestome birthdays I also do candy bar poem cards. I get a poster board and substitue candy bars for the appropriate words in parenthses. When I can't find a particular candy bar I change the line to something else or delete it.
