    Mandarins are different than Clementines. Clementines are a bit bigger and a whole lot easier to peel. I recently learned this because I bought a bag of mandarins for my LO. They were tasty, but much more difficult to peel.

    OP, how did your DH get to be in his mid to late 20's and not know how to say Clemntines???

    His parents are not American and speak with very heavy accents. They say some words weirdly and he grew up not knowing any different.
