Mrytle Beach
We are going for New Year's. Should we go to Hard Rock or Margarittaville?

Margaritaville over Hard Rock, any day. Hard Rock is overrated and overpriced for what it is.
Also, Myrtle Beach sucks. It's gross and way too commercialized You should pick a new vaca spot for next time. The SC coast is full of beautiful beaches; Edisto (my personal favorite), Hilton Head, Beaufort, Wild Dunes, etc.
We live about an hour away from Myrtle Beach. I would go to Margarittaville out of the two, if I were you. Y'all should have a lot of fun at Broadway at the Beach & Celebrity Square for NYE.
"MB sucks" is a little harsh, I think. It is very populated and has turned into quite the tourist attraction, but that's just because there is so much to do. It could be worse, it could by Times Square for NYE...talk about a lot of people! I hope y'all have a great time!

While there are certainly more "upscale" beaches to visit, perhaps the thought will cross your mind that using the term MB "sucks" would be offensive to some people?
