My baby is 1 today!
Sam is no longer an infant, but now a toddler! I can't believe how quickly time is going. This was the best year of my life. I can't imagine life without her.
She had a wonderful time at her party yesterday. She loved the character we got for her and was dancing with her (Minnie Mouse). She wasn't too fond of the smash cake at first, but she warmed up to it once she figured out what to do with it. hehe Here is a pic of her...not so excited about the cake at first:

A smash cake is a small cake that you get (usually for the 1st birthday) that the baby can dig into on their own.

That's what we did...except this cupcake was a little bigger than normal. Her whole cake was made out of cupcakes.
