OB/GYN?

Hello ladies,

I need to find an OB/GYN in Canton or the surrounding areas, and figured I'd get some personal recommendations from you ladies.

Who's your OB? Do you love them? Is it a male or female (prefer female)? Umm that's all I got for now, I'm sure more questions will pop up later.

 TIA!!

Re: OB/GYN?

  • I see Dr. Hrozencik out of IHA Canton.  The office is at Cherry Hill and Ridge in the downtown area.  I can't say enough good things about her and the office staff.  Most of the Dr,'s in the practice are women, but there is one male Dr.  I've seen all of the Dr.'s in the practice and they are all wonderful.  They deliver out of St. Joseph's Ann Arbor if that has any effect on your decisions.

  • I don't know if you consider Ann Arbor "surrounding", but I am loyal through and through to Dr. Karen Walker (IHA).  She is affiliated with three different hospitals (U of M, St. Joe and Chelsea).  She is just absolutely wonderful, I cannot say enough about her.

(P.S. I live in Northville, if that helps you gauge the drive at all).

  • Thanks ladies.

  • Completely 100% ditto IHA Canton on Cherry Hill.  I saw Dr. Eaton-McFarland primarily but saw all the docs eventually.  They saved my life when I got a rare pregnancy syndrome that forced my sons delivery at 29 weeks and put me in the hospital for two weeks.  They are AWESOME and I won't go to anyone else.  Their staff is friendly, you never have to wait very long and everyone always seems happy on staff.  I've been to other OBGYN's in the area and they are by far the best I've seen.
  • I also agree about IHA Canton.  I saw Dr. Hrozencik and she is awesome!
