I mentioned below that I'm about 90% done--woohoo! I might want to get another small thing for both my mom and dad, plus I still need to get stocking stuffers but other than that I think we're good. Definitely not empty-handed for anyone on my list right now, which feels great.
Who's the hardest person to shop for on your list?
I think it varies by year. Some years it's obvious what people want, and others it's a real struggle coming up with a good idea as I really want to give something the recipient will be excited about. Generally I think my dad is toughest because he's a pretty simple guy and rarely tells us if he wants anything.
Who's the easiest?
Probably my youngest sister and she almost always comes out and tells us what she wants.
What gift are you most excited about giving?
I think I'm most excited about the Lands' End monogrammed tote bags I got everyone as part of their gifts. I hope they all like them!
What's the best deal you've gotten?
Again, the tote bags. Can't beat $15 each, including monogramming, shipping, and taxes!
Have you done more shopping online or in stores?
This is the first year where I've really done the vast majority of my shopping online. I signed up for the Amazon Prime trial and am loving it, though I won't be paying the $79/year once the trial period is up. I think this was the perfect time to sign up for the trial though
I've still got to shop for DH and Q's teachers
DH is the hardest person. He doesn't really want anything in particular and I hate buying him things he won't use (and won't return)
Everyone else pretty much told me what they wanted this year.
I'm excited about giving Q his train table. I think he'll really like it.

How much shopping do you have left to do? A few stocking stuffers and waiting on some items ordered online to arrive.
Who's the hardest person to shop for on your list? Usually, my father. This year, my mother.
Who's the easiest? DH. He will say throughout the year when looking at something that he "wouldn't mind getting that at Christmas"
What gift are you most excited about giving? I got DH a record special-order this year and I hope he likes it!
What's the best deal you've gotten? Lots of stocking stuffers for under $5.

Who's the hardest person to shop for on your list? My dear husband! Oh my he is so sticking tough to shop for. And it does not help one bit that his birthday is Nov 29. So even if I figure out one thing for his birthday then his Christmas gifts are never that amazing. And it does not help that he's so particular either.
Who's the easiest? My Nanny and my Dad. Nanny is easy, she loves getting something pretty just for her. She is 95 and everyone else in the family buys her practical things but my Mom always made a point of buying her pretty jammies or a pretty outfit so I make a point of doing the same. And its always her favorite gift.
My Dad is easy because he pretty much buys whatever he needs/wants all year long so I just buy him shirts. Which he likes.
What gift are you most excited about giving? I finally found an ornament to replace one my grandmother gave my cousin when we were kids. It broke when we were like 12. I found one almost identical. I've been searching for 12 years for it!
What's the best deal you've gotten? Probably the gifts of my cousins kids. I got good deals on everything for all 10 of them.
Have you done more shopping online or in stores? In stores. The only person I bought on line for was E.That's awesome about the ornament! I bet your cousin will be so excited, and it's so sweet of you to have been keeping an eye out all this time.
And, wow, sounds like you must have done a lot of shopping! I can't believe you actually braved the stores with that big a shopping list. Go you!

I've been shopping since the beginning of November. And the fact that I do mine and my Dad's shopping and Dad foots half of the bill makes it that much easier!

Who's the easiest? my mom because I can get her stuff I would get myself or the people in DH's family (where we do Secret Santa) who tell you exactly what they want

It was my existential nieces and then I made them tell me what they wanted and I just upgraded it a bit.

We already gave Baz his activity table, but I'm looking forward to getting it set up in its permanent place (where the tree currently is)

about half and half. I order all of my books from Hicklebees, and if there's a store, I'd rather go, but I lucked into amazon prime and there are some etsy purchases I've made, so there's been a lot of cardboard in our house lately.

Thank you. Our grandma died when I was 9 and A was 10 so it was one of the last ornaments she had given us. We had matching ones and it was semi my fault that it broke so I've always been searching for one. Its not exact but it makes me so happy to have found something so so close!
How much shopping do you have left to do? We just have our 2 nephews and my FIL - but we will wait until the last minute to get these.
Who's the hardest person to shop for on your list? probably DH, he said he didn't want anything really but I got him 2 video games for the Xbox, a running shirt and a couple of t-shirts.
Who's the easiest? My sister, she had an Amazon list and since she's a teacher, she needed some classroom supplies.
What gift are you most excited about giving? An ornament to a close friend, it's a horse, which closely resembles her recently retired barrel horse.

Who's the hardest person to shop for on your list? My FIL. The man doesn't want anything, doesn't need anything and the only ideas MIL comes up with cost $$$$.
