How about this for a Christmas gift?
I just realized this weekend I don't much for my sister to unwrap on Christmas morning. She is one to count how many everyone has and compare it to the number she gets. She is 28, and trying to move out of our mom's house and start up her singing career. I was thinking of getting her a nice set of sheets and towels as her presents since I know she doesn't spend the money on that sort of stuff. Do you think that is a good idea? Personally I would love it because those sort of things are items I tend to think people don't think of to buy for themselves (kind of like the socks & underwear my Granny always bought us and we loved to get). That is another story in itself.
Re: How about this for a Christmas gift?
The level of excitement over that kind of gift totally depends on the recipient, so you'll be the best judge of whether it's a good gift for your sister. That said, if they're of nice quality I think it's a very nice idea. You can even buy monogrammed ones from places like Lands' End without adding to the cost much (my sister did this one year for the rest of the family).
