My good sleeper has been having sleep issues since the end of October. She wakes up early in the 4:30-5:30 range. She has had enough sleep that she wont just go back to sleep if I rock her. Sometimes I try milk and that helps some. It is too early to get up. I will lay with her on the couch or in the guest bed. When she does fall back asleep it is after she drank some milk. I give her a snack before bed which is usually cheese. I haven't had a lot of success with getting her to eat enough other foods like yogurt, pb and crackers that it will be substantial enough that it will tide her over. Her afternoon naps are around 2 hours, sometimes 2 1/2 so I don't think she is sleeping too much in the day. The only other thing I can think of is to put her to bed earlier to see if she is actually short on sleep and restless as a result. Earlier I had put the bumper back in which seemed to keep her warmer and help some. At a loss as to what else to try. Ideas?
