I am still reading the same book I posted about last week. It is The Christmas Thief by Mary and Carol Higgins Clark. I read it a few years ago before I read other books by Carol Higgins Clark. It features the same character she always writes about. I haven't had much time to read and can't seem to get that into it. Is anyone else reading any Christmas themed books?
Re: weekly book post
I just finished a book called Flat Out Love. It was super easy reading, but pretty entertaining. Now I am reading a book called Come Back to Me about a woman whose husband has been supposedly killed while photographing for a magazine in the middle east. She doesn't believe that he is actually dead and it is driving her friends and family to think she is losing it. So far, so good.
I am on book 49 of the year and my goal was 50. Even with my master's program I've been able to read this many books. Crazy!
my read shelf:
The Sugar Queen was my last book to read by SAA too. I love her! She needs to get writing! It started out slow, but I ended up loving it!
I got the first two out from the library in May just before we left for vacation. I read Hunger Games before we were even half way there, read Catching Fire during the day and a half at my mom's & during the rest of the drive to Williamsburg, then read the last one sitting in a Barnes & Nobles! I loved them and can't wait for the movie(s).
I read Janet Evanovich's 18 (forget what the book is) on the way home for Thanksgiving... it's the latest Stephanie Plum book & was quick & fun. A friend just gave me Sisterhood Everlasting... the latest Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants book. I planned on reading it during our holiday travel, and I read it on Sunday night & Monday night instead. It was really fun/good! I almost didn't read beyond a few chapters, but I am glad I did. The last book was set when they were 19, and this one fast-forwards ten years.
I plan on reading lots of magazines, knitting & watching Bones thanks to Sprints unlimited data plan on our Holiday family driving tour (29 hours total).
And who wanted the first few Emily Giffin books? I have them & plan on donating them and would gladly send them to someone from here if you want them!
