Re: Good Morning!
Morning everyone! I just want this week to be over...I feel like it's dragging on. Friday afternoon, we leave for a weekend in Poland, so I'm really excited about that!
QOTD: Biggest dream right now would be to own a home. I don't care where, I'm just tired of renting.
Morning! Busy week for me - N is on antibiotics and DH is now coming down with something too... his quote from last night - "how can something that I helped create now try to kill me with germs..." Yes, a touch over dramatic!
Work Christmas party on Friday night so I predict a hangover on Saturday... not sure after that though I'm sure there'll be some Christmas shopping done...
QOTD: to live in a warm house!!! Our house is the coldest place ever and doesn't retain any heat... could seriously do with some insulation, or even just some curtains in some of the rooms...
Morning! H and I went to see the new house we'll be renting next year (see vent below). It is actually smaller than what we have now, but it's still lovely and has everything we need. Our friends who own the place also seem pretty close to all the neighbors on the street, many of who have young kids. And I met one of them and she's very nice. Overall, I feel good about our decision to move.
We have our NCT classes for the next few days. I'm looking forward to them, but I'm so tired and still fighting this cold. Hopefully H and I won't be the gross ones coughing through class!
QOTD: To pay off our student loans and own a house.
Morning!
I dont have to go to work until 1 so I got to sleep in today.
QOTD: I have a lot. To sell my flat and get something bigger. Pay off my student loans and live close to my parents.
Good morning!
What was going to be a busy week at work has suddenly become an easy week at home. So the birthday celebration we were having for my MIL on Saturday can be moved to Wednesday (her birthday was Tuesday) and then DH and I will have the weekend to finish Christmas shopping. We were done until the post office intervened and delayed packages.
QOTD: I have two or three, but they can all fall under the same heading -- CRUISE. I want a cruise. I want to visit my family, but they want to do it on a cruise. I want to take DH to see the Midnight Sun, but we can do that on a cruise. And I want to share my love of French Canada and the Maritime Provinces as vacation location with anyone who wants to go with me, but we can do that on a cruise as well.
Good morning!
This week is shaping up pretty good. I think I mentioned this before, but I'm in the USAF on an exchange assignment with the RAF as a navigator in GR-4s (two seat fighter/bomber). I'm supposed to fly nights this week, and lets just say that the weather in Scotland isn't exactly cooperating:-) Anyway, it's the last week before we go on break for Christmas, so that's always exciting.
QOTD: My dream? To make it through the next few months of training/uncertainty/separation from my fianc?. Just want to be married and settled in our own house (okay, rented house, but with all of our stuff), keeping a normal schedule and not living like a nomad like I have for the last year and a half:-)
It's looking to be a long week for me, just because I'm still tired from the travel and jetlag. I am looking forward to hosting a holiday dinner with friends on Saturday. Although we do have to get working on the menu!
I went to bed early last night, so definitely feeling more rested today. I have my annual health assessment this morning, which means I have to fast beforehand, and I am already starving!
QOTD: I literally dream of finally getting pregnant and having a baby. It will happen.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Good morning ladies. I couldn't sleep so I baked peanut butter cookies and now I'm at th? gym (on th? bike). I'm having friends over later to bake Christmas cookies and hav? fondue. Sorry for th? weird accents, French autocorrect.
QOTD: to just be happy and figure out my life.
We put up our xmas tree last night and now I'm appreciating having it! My week is a mix of trying to get some things done and hoping that the baby comes this week (Friday is my due date) and not too late because my family is coming on xmas eve and if I have to be in the hospital etc it may stress me out completely. I'm hoping me, DH, and baby get some bonding time before they come.
QOTD: That the baby comes and is healthy and I don't tear or need a c-section!
I am thinking of you Chebel!! Baby get here soon vibes coming your way.
I am nesting like a crazy lady. Seriously I cleaned our garden tub twice yesterday. Why? Because I felt it needed a an extra special cleaning for the baby who will not be using it anytime in the near future and I hate my back apparently. And I have my cleaning to do list set for the next week as well.
Other than cleaning, I am waiting. And waiting some more. Any day now kiddo.
QOTD: I dream of getting my Master's in Creative Writing and starting my own nonprofit. Sigh...one day.
My Israel Blog!
Morning! We had a rough night with Georgia waking up twice to puke (on me!) and she hasn't been able to keep any food or drink down. Yesterday she was really lethargic - sleeping probably 18-19 hours during the 24 hour period. We went to the GP and I felt like a scolded child - of course G perked up and was alert and didn't have a fever and her ears look fine, so they can't do anything. The GP gave me attitude about coming in because she had croup and this is just the natural progression. I have loads and loads of laundry to do - it'll probably take at least a week to catch up (stupid tiny British washing machines!). So, not really anything fun planned!
My biggest dream: I'm not sure! We have so many things that we've talked about. Probably the next thing to happen is to get pregnant. We would love to have another one sometime soon! We also will probably move in a year or so. DH really is struggling at work - he doesn't like what he's doing. He's trying to figure out what he wants to do in life, and work toward that goal. One of the possibilities will be moving to Africa for a year or two. I love the unknown, so I'm excited! Eventually though, I picture us having a large house, living back in America near family. I would love my kids to grow up with their cousins.
Morning!
I just got home from a run and a bit of shopping with a friend. This afternoon I need to clean and organize the house for my brother's arrival on Thursday.
Most likely going for drinks at the Christmas market after M finishes school this afternoon.
QOTD: Owning a house with a garden and that my H's company continues to grow so that I can still stay home and not worry about finances. I like being a lady of leisure.
Good morning. Had a pity party last night over XHs douchebaggery. Happy today is a new day.
QOTD: Get a new job so I can finally start my career and pay off student loans.
Good Afternoon. I'm in the worst mood ever today. I'm tired of being stuck at home with H even though I was just in town yesterday. I'm just hiding out in my room so I don't say anything I shouldn't. I'm a bad bitter wife today. (I guess that was a bit of a confession)
QOTD: My biggest dream right now is for H to be better so we can do all the things I'd like to do before leaving here. It's not looking like it's going to happen right now. I guess I'm feeling sorry for myself...
For the rest of the week I'm hoping we can finish up decorating the tree. So far we just have a tree in a stand. We also bought aquarium tickets off groupon that we need to use up. I also want to make cut out cookies during the weekend.
QOTD: Pay off my student loans including the ones I haven't even signed up for yet.
