Re: Tuesday Randoms
Yeah painting can be a pain in the arse
Ugh, my uncle just texted me. He's taking my uncle to MD Anderson ER. He has taken a turn for the worse.
I feel so helpless. I hate living so far away.
I'm so sorry
I always think I like painting. 10 minutes into it, I remember that I do not like painting.
Gets me every time too. I'm all gung ho until I actually start. However the depressing drab green is gone from my dining room so that makes me very happy!
Ha, this is so me.
We are having a lot of people over this weekend. My basement bathroom is half painted, and the half of my basement that I painted gray a few weeks ago, I still need to do the edges.
Ughhhhhhhhhh! I'm running out of time. But I get so bored with it after 10 minutes.
D&MJ - I am sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope he recovers from this turn quickly.
I'm sorry :-( T&P sent his way.
I went to dinner with a friend last night, so Nick made a giant pot of chili. He said it's not very good. LOL. I guess I'm going to have to try and fix it for dinner tonight.
Perfect example of why I'm the cook in our house.
Morning girls!
Charity, I bet your hair looks great. I love darker hair colors for the winter.
Freeburger - we did the same thing last year right before Thanksgiving. Except Jim and I couldn't decide on a color so we ended up painting 3 times. I hope it goes quickly for you.
Molly - I hope your Uncle is okay. T&Ps his way!
Wop - I hope you feel better soon. I also feel like I'm catching a cold. I think there's a lot going around right now. Your post about your hubby's chili made me laugh. I'm trying to plan a super easy list of menu options that Jim can fix next week while I'm in the hospital.
The book was awesome.
LOVED the book, one of my favorites. Can't wait to see the movie!
Take some zinc. For the cold, not the sleepy.
The movie is pretty good. Woodland has it playing and it's only $3.99
My account is fine. Weird.
Mine is fine too.
I restarted my computer and all is well now.
Wishing I couldn't have read the messages. My volunteer position makes me feel like I'm spinning my wheels and speaking a different language. At least it will be over (for a while) at Christmas.
Arlo is blissed out. He loves lying under the tree on top of the quilted tree skirt. We have a small windchime ornament, and every time he moves we hear "tinkle, tinkle, tinkle..."
Aw, sweet. I love pets.
My housemates' dogs have definitely made me appreciate the canine persuasion a lot more. Still a crazy cat lady here, and probably always will be because they are more suitable to our lifestyle, but dogs can be great too
Dogs are awesome. I don't know what I would do without one.
- DP, I'm glad for the time I lived with roommates cats (and a lot of allergy medicine). It's nice to get that glimpse into how they are without the responsibility.
- I'm very excited about the Children's Dictionary we got for Willa. She keeps telling people all she wants for Christmas is a book. She's getting at least 4.
We usually had at least one dog while I was growing up, but it was always an outside dog and we also had a collection of barn cats, chickens
and a handful of horses so the dog love was a bit diluted (and even then I preferred cats).
I totally love Willa and haven't even met her! We always get our nephews at least one book (whether it's what they want or not!) at every gift giving occasion. We've appointed ourselves their educational role models. Next year they're probably all getting Wayne Law t-shirts for Xmas in addition to their books.
