I took the last birth control pill in my pack, and I don't plan on calling in another prescription as DH and I have decided we're going to start TTC in the spring
I have already started taking prenatal vitamins and working on reducing my current dependency on coffee, and I have a doctor's consultation and dentist appointment set up for late January. Anything else you girls can recommend I do or get out of the way in the mean time?
Re: This morning...
I watched Iron Chef last night and everything had sparkling wine in it. I was totally salivating by the end of it.

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
wahoo!
Other than what's suggested (ie, get your booze on now, dear lord I want a beer) maybe take the next few months to establish a good healthy eating and exercise plan. Make it all a habit now and it should be easier to keep up when you're KU.
Oh, and if you weren't already planning to, look into charting. It can help with TTA and most certainly help with TTC.

So excitiig. It sounds ilke your doing everything to get ready! Enjoy it and try not to stress to much. I know that is A LOT easier said than done for most people.
Thanks for the suggestions and well wishes, ladies. DH and I have a tentative trip to Vegas planned for next summer so I'm definitely trying to fit in one last vacation together before any babies come along! As far as alcohol I typically drink maybe once every other month (if that much) so going without shouldn't be a big issue. But Raynes your suggestion of getting into an exercise plan is advice I'm definitely going to take. I'm not overweight by any means but my workouts are few and far between and I know it'll be harder to get into a routine once I'm rapidly gaining weight!
On a side note, are there any boards worth visiting over on The Bump or TTC boards on The Nest? Or would I just be better off to google and consult you ladies on everything to avoid snark?
We are planning to start TTC in April. The main thing I am doing is taking prenatal vitamins and working out. I want to get to my goal weight before we start trying, only a few more pounds.
GP here on TN and TTGP over on TB are wealth's of information. I lurked on GP for a while before we were even TTC and learned a lot, and then posted on TTGP while we were TTC. Even just their posts/blogs for new posters are really helpful. That, and there's a lot of experience just floating around here!
Yay babies!
