So.... we are dairy, soy, gluten, and peanut free for Jude right now (possibly more...Mara couldn't handle eggs either...) I am at a loss for what the hell to eat besides fruit and chicken (I don't eat veggies, terrible, I know). I've never done completely GF for myself and I know that it's easy to get GF stuff that has dairy etc if I buy anything that isn't made from scratch.
Also, do you take supplements for anything you miss with your diet? I am assuming I should be taking calcium but I am drawing a complete blank on what I did with Mara.

Re: julie!
You need to focus on getting more protein and fat - beef, beef, beef (not Hormel though - their "flavoring solution" is allergy central)! Chicken thighs with the skin on (check to make sure they're not injected w/solution)! Sunbutter spread on Lundberg rice cakes (never ever trust Quaker - they're a gluten cross-contamination nightmare). What do you do for starch? Will you eat sweet potatoes? Rice? Quinoa? Add olive oil wherever you can to help your omega-6 fat intake. Do you really not eat *any* vegetables? Not even soft steamed carrots with a little honey and cinnamon?
Veggies are such a goldmine of vitamins girl!
I have to take a lot of supplements. Not only is my diet too restricted, but I had such a damaged small intestine that I had several nutrient deficiencies (I just couldn't absorb the nutrients, despite the fact that I've always taken supplements). I'll link some allergy-safe supplements for you. You should definitely be on a good multivitamin http://www.vitacost.com/NutriCology-Multi-Vi-Min
plus calcium/magnesium/zinc http://www.vitacost.com/Country-Life-Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc
plus Vitamin D3 http://www.vitacost.com/Country-Life-Vitamin-D3-1000-IU-200-Softgels
You may also find a folic acid supplement helpful http://www.vitacost.com/Country-Life-Folic-Acid
Of course on all of these, check w/your doctor to make sure it's okay and to determine how much you should take. My dosage probably differs from yours.
