We have DH's work Christmas party this Friday (so I can't go to the gtg... boo!), and we're supposed to bring an appetizer. Anyone have anything particularly good or different? I have a few ideas, but nothing that's really that great. Thanks ladies!
Re: Appetizer Inspiration
I'm making a spinach & artichoke dip for a gathering on Sat. It's a warm dish.
I can give you the recipe if you'd like.
I'm doing this for my work party and Xmas Eve party!
Oh m goodness. I could eat a meal off of appetizers. I love them and have a ton of recipes.
Do you want a hot dish or cold?
HOT: spinach artichoke dip, jalapeno popper dip, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto (best when freshly cooked and cooled, but good anytime!), baked brie with cinnamon sugar walnuts or something savory, taco dip. My SIL has a recipe for some 10 cheese dip (exaggeration, but it's GODLY good!)
COLD: corny-bean dip (like a salsa but corn and bean based. Served with frito scoops), bruschetta, shrimp cocktail, cool veggie pizza, guac and chips,
Oh my..... I have so many others but if you want any recipes or if you want more suggestions, just let me know

I love taking a sliced baguette and putting a little bit of goat cheese on each slice and then I drizzle just a little bit of honey on top! That has been my go too appetizer for the last few months. (I even eat it for dinner sometimes when DH isn't home, lol).
Otherwise, you can't go wrong with any sort of chips and dip!
