I forgot to set my alarm last night and had 15 minutes to get M breakfast, dressed and to school. I made it just on time.
Going out xmas shopping in a few minutes then going to a Christmas thing at M's school this afternoon.
QOTD: We're going to Barcelona for a few days on the 26th with my brother.
Boy this place is really dead. Where is everybody? That should've ben the QOTD.
DBF's brother is moving back home today (he's spent a semester in Bali) and I'm dreading it. Now there'll be five adults living under one roof. It's been fine so far since we've had his bedroom to "escape" but now that he's back the house is going to get a lot more crowded. And a lot more GmeTFO.
Not sure where/when our next trip is. Stay tuned, though.

Now that we know FIL is out of the woods and we won't be flying out to Milan today, my plans go back to baking cookies and going to a wholesale grocery store to stock up on some stuff.
QOTD: We're planning to go to London for a Da Vinci exhibit before it closes (Feb 5th I think, so before then). I'm sincerely hoping that'll be our next trip, because scheduling anything between now and that trip would mean more health scares of family members and I've kinda had enough of that for a while.

Hello all. Busy morning trying to get some stuff boxed away at work. DH is travelling for a few days, so I'm by myself tonight to do some holiday baking and prep. Would like to finally talk to my elusive mother and get some more shopping done for DH for Christmas.

Hello! We're all recovering from sickness that has plagued us for a week now. Georgia is on the mend, but I'm afraid that I'm not feeling too well. I'm trying to take it easy and slowly do laundry and dishes that are piling up.
Next trip: no clue! DH is going to the US in April for work, so we might all try to go. I'm not sure, though if we will - it is costly and a real pain to do with a 1-year old. We've also talked about doing a last minute cruise sometime in the spring. We'll see if that happens
Morning! Still hoping for some signs that baby is coming soon. Not really up to much otherwise, probably organizing some more things.
QOTD: We don't have anything planned yet, but hopefully Ireland at the end of February.
Good morning! Am going to have a good day today (in good news post) so I'm in a decent mood. Am really struggling to stay focussed at work (and mostly failing) - I seem to be in Christmas mode already! There are chocolates and cake and I don't feel like working at all!
QODT: We rented a house with 14 friends for New Year's week up north and I have a weekend in Prague booked in February with a girlfriend. Can I be a bit of an AW and say we also have a week booked in Budapest/Bratislava in March and 10 days in Portugal in June? I'm pretty excited for how next year is shaping up already :-)

A busy day for me (see my rant...) and on top of that a couple of meetings I really could have done without!!
QOTD: Nothing planned though we do have a voucher for an overnight stay in a hotel in Dublin to use before March... yes, I know, we live in Dublin... Other than that who knows! Maybe March for a wedding in the countryside and my brother's wedding too... within a week of each other possibly!
