The end is drawing near...
My last working day of the year will be a week from tomorrow! I can't believe how fast 2011 has flown!

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermWe do. The university is pretty much closed down, so there's not a whole lot going on at the Library during that time. The Library will still be open, but it'll be run by the usual night and weekend workers.
We don't take a lot of the "small" holidays throughout the year, so that we can have all the extra time after Christmas. So our last day is next Thursday, and we don't come back until January 3rd. It's nice.
If I ever get a different job though, it'll SUCK because I'm so used to this and so spoiled, after almost 15 years of it. lol

Keith took a week vacation this year, on that week. And, while I'm glad I get to spend time with him, well, I'm used to having that time to myself. So it's going to be hard. lol

I have the same end of year schedule that you do because I work at a University. We get next friday (the 23rd) through January 3rd off paid (we get the extra friday and monday since Christmas and NYs are on Sundays this year). DH works for the university too so he gets it off too. We're super excited for an 11 day break!
In the past I've used vacation time to take off the week between Christmas and New Years, since I worked at a financial company who was open during that time.
What's sad though is that I'm really really tempted to use some vacation days to make my break even longer because I just need some time off and I'm getting inpatient waiting for it for another week. But thinking about it logically, doing that just seems ridiculous and a waste so I'm trying to avoid doing it. First world problem I guess right?
