I need a drink

I have felt like crap the past 2 months so alcohol has been the last thing on my mind.

But work is crazy lately and things are just piling on.... so I could really use a drink! Margarita, wine, whatever!!!  Egg nog is just not cutting it anymore! :)

  • Indulge in some chocolate or greasy cheese fries?  Not the same but maybe it will help your stress!

Yummy!  Both sound delicious :)  Although, it would be even better with a glass of red wine on the side!  I've been so stressed out this pregnancy, I also could have gone for a drink or ten on some days.

  • Went with comfort food, Mac & cheese as a side with dinner and a twix (still from Halloween!) for dessert! :)

  • I was always a pretty big drinker until my BFP, but I haven't missed it as much as I thought I would.  I've been to a few weddings and a few parties and I kind of enjoy watching everybody else get drunk and then making fun of them when they are hungover.  At the last Christmas party I went to I discovered Fre "alcohol removed" wine.  It tastes like juice more than wine (obviously, because it is), but if you put it in a wine glass you can pretend.  I think I will get a bottle of Fre champagne for Christmas.  For New Years I'll have the real thing though ;)

  • I specifically miss wine -- riesling to be exact and moscato

I always loved kickin back and having a few glasses on a Friday .. or a Monday or whatever.. after a long day of dealing with high schoolers.  I did not miss it my first trimester probably because i was sick so often, but now that I'm feeling better I definitely miss it.

  • Isn't a glass of wine okay with pregnancy now-a-days?  Like, not a glass a wine every night, but every once in a while?

it depends on the opinion of the Dr you are talking to. My Dr is a no alcohol art all Dr. but she's good with lots of different medications that other Dr's aren't. I've definitely tasted H's wine and if he tries a good IPA I'll take a taste, but I feel like if I had a glass against Dr's recommendations I wouldn't be able to look her in the eye. It's that catholic guilt thing:)
