Dog Training

I know there have been posts in the past but does anyone have a dog trainer they recommend. We have two dogs.  One is calm and gentle and is a wonderful dog.  The other does pretty good when it is just DH and I but she is super hyper when others are around.  She also barks frequently, scratches at doors and doesn't walk well on a leash.

We took her to Petsmart Dog Camp and it didn't work well.

Any trainer suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Dog Training

  • We just finished a six week course at Good Karma Dog Center with our spastic beagle. He's not cured by any means but we have a lot if resources to help him on our own. I highly recommend them.

  • We did Trouba Training. Her website is www.troubatraining.com. I highly reccomend her. We are actually going to use her again with our second dog. She did wonders for our first dog. She uses the clicker training method.
