what are you doing Christmas Eve? Day? A nice dinner on Eve, Christmas Day we are celebrating with very good friends of ours( and their families) who are Muslim. I predict there will be tons of good food and good lamb. YUM

are you tired of Christmas music yet? no. I really feel like I haven't heard a lot on the radio.
what is your favorite song? least favorite? The Trans Siberian "Christmas/Sarajevo" song. Least Fave: Anything overly dramatic/sad like "Christmas Shoes". Makes. Me. Stabby.
what are you doing Christmas Eve? Day? Eve @ MILs for dinner, Day will be Mom&Dad's for lunch, then open gifts with the "kids" @ MILs ~2PM.
any fun traditions? Not really. Just enjoying the R&R that comes with December. Using up a lot of vacay time.

are you done shopping? if not, how much do you have left to buy? almost. All that's left is DH's grandmother who now lives with his parents and will be staying with us for the holidays. She's over 90 and has everything, so we're going with consumables - wine and chocolate. Any other ideas?
how much wrapping have you done? I have one gift at the house to wrap, the gift above TBD, and one more small item for DH that will arrive next week.
what is your favorite present you are giving? probably the compact camera for MIL. Even though it was what she asked for, I picked it out. My brother might surprise our mom with a new dishwasher and I'll go in on that if he does.
are you tired of Christmas music yet? YES! DH loves it though
what is your favorite song? least favorite? no favorites, but I love hearing Martina McBride or Sarah McLaughlin's voices. DH hates the new pop musc. The addition of Justin Bieber music has driven DH to mostly listen to the traditional station on XM or hop between the local stations.
what are you doing Christmas Eve? Day? Due to my mom's dialysis schedule, my family will have to leave on Christmas day. So, we'll have our big dinner on Christmas Eve, but open presents as usual in the AM. We'll have leftovers for lunch before they leave, and then find somewhere to go out with DH's family that night. We realize it will likely be Chinese, but we'll want to get out of the house.
any fun traditions? We do a Christmas morning casserole that you prep the night before. I love it! I always get my mom a calendar with border collies on it and get dad some cashews.are you done shopping? if not, how much do you have left to buy? dude, NOT done at all. i have about half left to do i think....::cue scared face::
how much wrapping have you done? even less than shopping. that is to say...NONE. OF. IT. i'm thinking monday might be the day to wage war on the tape dispenser

are you tired of Christmas music yet? heck no!! i'm actually sad it's gonna be gone in 2 weeks or so =(

the little drummer boy however makes me want to murder him with his stupid drum, and his stupid rum-pum-pums.
what are you doing Christmas Eve? Day? christmas eve we do presents with my extended family (grandmothers, first cousins, uncle, etc). and then christmas day we do what we call the gauntlet.....DH and i get up, do our christmas at the house, go to my parents', eat there and do presents, go to DH's "other mom"'s house, do presents and eat there, and then usually meet my parents and sister for chinese buffet that night.
any fun traditions? my family started going to the chinese buffet for lunch christmas day once my sis and i were older and no one cared about coming over to see our toys and such. it's AWESOME. we also have "a christmas story" on alllllllllllll dayMy Shopping Blog

The past few years my family has over ruled my Dad and opened presents on Christmas Eve. We usually spend the night and stay up late talking and its a lot of fun.
how much wrapping have you done? I wrapped almost everything I bought except the tennis bags I bought my parents.. I haven't figured out "how" to wrap them yet.
what is your favorite present you are giving? I gave my mom the only good I idea I had for DH, and I am excited for DH to get that present.
