Happy Friday!! Woohooooo!!
Am I glad that its Friday! YeeHa!
Big plans for the weekend?
...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
Re: Happy Friday!! Woohooooo!!
I am so glad its the weekend...ts going to be a busy one...
Today/Friday: I have my hair appointment in Park Slope, so Im dragging Avery with me and I get to pamper myself a little bit (so rare these days!). DH has his work Christmas party tomorrow, so I need to find something to wear. Shopping trip! I will come back to SI and hit the mall. I also need to grab a couple of things for DH for his Xmas gifts, so I'll be doing that.
Our new kitchen cabinets were installed (some came with small damages on them, had to return them..etc) so I get to put all my stuff away. Guy comes to take final measurement of countertops for granite delivery next week.
More unpacking. *There will be wine in there somewhere..LOL
Saturday: Big furniture delivery from Pottery Barn. I ordered our diningroom table, chairs, and the matching buffet. Here's what it looks like if you want to see (I ordered the chairs in "Oat" - Suede:

We also have electricians and plumbers in doing finishing touches on things.
Then we're going to get our Xmas tree
Then off to Long Island for the Christmas party. My friend that lives in Port Washington will watch Avery while we're at the party.
Sunday: More unpacking. Studying for finals next week...
Sounds like a packed weekend, Alisha (as usual)
I love your dining set! Looks really durable and good quality.
Friday - I am at home working on my final paper for this semester. My boss has called me several times panicking and even asking me to come in. But I was able to calm him down. I hope to work on this paper all day and just get it done.
Saturday - going to start my registry at BRU, chores at home, searching for christmas lights (no tree this year, I just don't have the energy) then dinner date with DH in Fo-Hi (got a groupon)
Sunday - church, cooking, chilling
Have a good weekend, ladies.

Yay, I am SO excited for this weekend. Because last weekend was THE BUSIEST in a long time, I really feel burnt out and I need a break!
Tonight I am taking G to our friday-night date at Gymboree :-) Then I'm putting her to bed and WRAPPING PRESENTS!! And working on Christmas cards! DH has his holiday work party so I have the night to myself.
Tomorrow I am making Chrsitmas cookies with my mom in the morning, and the DH and I are meeting up with a friend from my bump board who will be in town withher hubby. We are going out to eat at my fave place to bring tourists, La Mela in Little Italy.
Sunday is still up in the air, but we were thinking of taking G into the city to see the tree and the Saks windows.
We're having a busy busy weekend!
Tonight, DH and I might go get a new coat for him (he's lost a ton of weight since last winter and his old one looks ridiculous on him!)
Tomorrow morning, we have Sasha's swimming lesson, then dropping her off with my ILs in SI and getting DH a haircut. Then we're off to the city to meet up with some of my friends (one of whom is visiting from London) for lunch and some touristy stuff. Then BAM to see the Nutcracker with my sister, her DH and some friends. Then possibly drinks somewhere in the city afterwards.
Sunday, we're driving back to SI and going over to my cousin's to hang out with his family (they have a 6-year-old girl my Sasha just adores). Then probably BRU to register while DD naps at the ILs'.
Have a good weekend, ladies!
Bubblegum Explosion
Our weekend will be pretty laid back...
I'm home studying (just not this second, lol) and hubby will be home for dinner so, in a couple of hours, I'll get the tabouli started and put the water on the stove for the penne.
Tomorrow and Sunday I'll also have to study so the mornings will be quiet. Tomorrow night is going to be movie night (maybe we'll catch New Year's Eve) and Sunday night we're invited at a friend's pre-Christmas party... should be fun
have a great weekend all!!
