Re: Weekend plans??

  • Finally putting up the tree and decorating (long, stupid story as to why not done yet).

And Last Train Home at Iota tomorrow night = lots of great friends, music, dancing and laughs - can't wait!

Not much else -- I'm off for the next two weeks!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!

    "What is a week-end?"
  • Tonight- Meeting DH for dinner downtown, then going to a Christmas concert that a friend is singing in. I'm looking forward to it, since they'll be singing in a variety of languages too.

Tomorrow- Christmas shopping, Christmas mug party- very excited for this yearly tradition!

Sunday- Church, grocery shopping, making a few Christmas cards, maybe polishing my nails.

  • Today/tonight - running some last minute gift errands so I can wrap/mail them tomorrow so they get to my parent's house in time.  Then I need to clean the house, do some laundry and meet DH downtown to go to our friend's party - should be a really good time.

Tomorrow - drop all the presents at UPS, finish cleaning the attic, maybe go see some Christmas lights

Sunday - shop for a new computer, have a nice lunch (I think we're going to go to Il Canale) and then come home and relax, and maybe get drunk.

Monday - I have an early Dr's appt then I'll be going into work for a couple hours, then leaving early.  Our WH tour is at 430, so we'll hook up with the other people DH is bringing, do the tour, grab some drinks and then head to Central for our anniversary dinner.

    Pretty exciting longish weekend!

  • has this week been super slow and long for everyone else? i am so effing ready for 5pm! no major plans but lots of loose ends to tie up this weekend.

tonight: dinner somewhere (or ordering in), wrapping the presents that i haven't already shipped up to my mom's in MA, and hopefully some kind of christmasy drink and a holiday movie (or friday night lights)

tomorrow: sleeping in, we should go to the gym, holiday errands (bottles for cinnamon bitters, maybe paper source for different tags . . .), making tags and more wrapping. maybe a dinner date in the neighborhood?

sunday: sleep, grocery store, baking for my co-workers, watching the pats game, and starting to pack since we leave from work on thursday afternoon!

    happy friday!

  • Tonight: Meeting DH at America Eats for a date night! Woo hoo! Our DCP is keeping DD late so we can go right from work. Very excited.

Saturday: Coffee play date with a couple girlfriends and our babies, decorating the tree, wrapping presents, book club meeting and then my aunt and cousins are coming by for a visit.

Sunday: Tree trimming party at our friend's/neighbor's house, finishing up Christmas shopping and then watching the Pats game with friends.

  • AGGHHH I hate the Nest sometimes!

Tonight: going to our friends' house to hang out with them since this is the last time we will see them until 2012!

Saturday - errands in the morning; celebrating Christmas with my family in the late afternoon/evening

Sunday - spend time with my family until they leave (they will probably head out by noon); watch the Browns and Jets games at a sports bar since they both play at 4:15

  • Tonight: home to make dinner, hit the gym and probably start wrapping some presents.

tomorrow: relaxing in the morning, maybe the gym again, taking a lunch to enjoy at one of our favorite local wineries, not sure what else in the afternoon/evening.  Probably more present wrapping and organizing/packing for our trip to NY next week.

sunday:  out for brunch, then relaxing more before family/holiday craziness sets in.  more packing/wrapping/laundry.  Maybe DH and I will do our presents together too.

  • Tonight: Spending time with DH after the LOs go to bed. After last week's fiasco with him getting chicken pox (from our LOs' vaccines), then lots of after work events this week, we've barely seen each other.

Tomorrow: Running errands and then our neighbor is having a holiday open house for the neighborhood. All of our neighbors love our LOs, so we get to go and enjoy ourselves and have a few drinks while the neighbors gush and play with the kids.

Sunday: Hoping to do some final shopping and get a Christmas tree, if any are left, and then decorate it.

  • Today: Christmas shopping, chill at home tonight

Tomorrow: More Christmas prep at home, babysit niece and nephew (who unbeknownst to them are going to be my "cookie elves," mWAHhahahaha!)

Sunday: Baptism for my new nephew, dinner with that side of the family, and going to a blues jam with Otto

    TTC since Mar. 2010; 6 IUIs 2011 = 2 CPs; BFP (conceived naturally) 12/9/11; m/c 1/7/11
  • Tonight:  I was supposed to get together with some friends, but I am pretty sure I am coming down with a cold, so I think I will stay in and make it an early night.

Tomorrow: Post office (ugh), very quick trip to the mall to get the last of our holiday gifts (my nieces - who are only 4 and 6 - apparently want stuff from Bath & Body Works...), and a co-workers holiday party.

Sunday: Watching movie while I address close to 100 holiday cards and stuff 76 envelopes with our annual HOA budget notification (don't ever become an HOA treasurer...).
