Potty Training - home vs. daycare

Drew has "100% success" with using the potty at daycare -- has been this way for about a month.  He goes to daycare 3 days a week, and when he's at home ... there is very little potty success.  I attribute most of it to him being surrounded by other pottying 2-year olds at daycare (and apparently they go crazy-silly when there are successes) and at home he seems to have better things to do and he is really resistant to even try to go.  I'm trying to mimmic the daycare teacher's rituals as much as possible, but still no luck.

My oldest was so easy to train, so this feels new to me.  Is this common (having the vast difference in environments), and do you think in time and encouragement he will do the same for home?

The daycare wants to move him to the 3-year old room (he won't be 3 for a few months) because he's potty-trained .... :- /  so that's frustrating, too.

Thank you!
