Anyone up yet? I see TK is still being a biatch.
I'm currently going through old photos (from like elementary school), and I just made an fb group with one of the guys. We've decided to plan a elementary school reunion and boycott the HS one in a few years. 
(Most of the people from home I'm still friends with are people I've known since kindergarten anyway.)

I feel like an 8 year old. All excited that it's Christmas vacation for me. My niece is coming over in a few hours and we're partying holiday style. I'm taking her shopping to finish up her Christmas gifts, hitting up the grocery to get all the supplies I need for hosting Christmas in ONE WEEK.
Alright people. Saturday morning, 8am, Santa's coming to town.
We've got gifts to wrap, snow to pray for, candy and cookies to make.. I think it's gonna be a great day!

H was gone last night so it's just me and the pups this morning. They usually sleep in but they were up at 6:30 this morning. Go figure. H had his awards banquet last night. He called and told me he got the reservist recruiter of the year award for his division. I'm pumped for him!
Tonight we are going to finish up our Christmas shopping. It's tradition for us to go to dinner, have a drink or two and finish up shopping. I'm excited!
I see how it is Hike. No love for me ;-)

Good morning, ladies.
I'm with ya, Anna. Baking, candy making (I'm going to attempt butter toffee), red velvet cake balls, making my list of last-things-to-do, finish SIL's gift, etc. I'm excited to get it all going. And, DH is smoking some chicken.
A very strange thing yesterday. I picked my daughter up at the airport - home for Christmas break from school. She opened her suitcase at home and there was a random phone charger that isn't hers, and a light bulb. She couldn't think of anything that was missing, but why would someone (presumably TSA) put that stuff in her bag? Weird.
I know! I'm actually not mad at them, I feel bad for them. Their luck is just not turning right now.

Morning ladies!
Today I get my hair did (must be pretty for the holidays), have to stop at the Carter outlet store up the street, then home to start a deep clean on the house, and I'm also baking. Attempting cakeballs and my cookies.
Steph- Got you Christmas card yesterday, I love it!
Morning ladies. This final exams stuff is wearing me out-- I had one last night from 6-9 (and it took the whole three hours). I'm in the home stretch now-- one last exam at 1:30 and then I'm DONE for the semester. I can't wait to return to feeling like a normal human being, at least somewhat. My house is a mess, and still as of yet not unpacked. I have to finish up Christmas shopping and wrap the presents.
Just stopped in briefly to make sure JCB got her SS gift, and she did, so now I have to go study some more. Hope you all have a lovely day!

TK seems to be working now. (FOR now, I should say)
My biggest beef with TN is that when the reply box is loading, I THINK it's done, and I start typing, then it loads some more, and if I'm not paying attention and keep typing, I type a ton of crap that isn't posted because the stupid box was still loading.
H is sick. It snowed. We were going to go up to the cities and test out some guns for me and go out to eat today, but now since he's so miserably sick, it looks like he'll spend the day puking, and I'll spend the day shoveling, doing grad school apps, addressing Christmas cards, and wrapping presents. All thing that need to be done, but not as much fun as what was planned. Poor H.

Les, that is weird. The whole TSA having 100% access to your shiit still freaks me out. I remember right after 9-1-1, I had to fly & I was in the security line out of the Denver airport - I was selected for the 'random' search of carry-ons. I was running late that morning so my bag was a mess and this was before they did the searches in private. So the entire fuucking line of passengers got to see my colored bra and underwears that were on top. So mortifying.

More than likely, they were just put in the wrong bag when TSA packed the bag following inspection. When we inspect bags, they're lined up and each officer inspects a bag. Sometimes things get put in the wrong bad by accident. It shouldn't happen, but occasionally, it does.

Lastnight was our work party at my bosses house, it was one hell of a party. We had so much fun - they had it catered and the food was fantastic and it was just laughs all evening. Our graphics guys have a thing for making movies and we noticed them off to the side doing "scenes" that were so corney (the guy being filmed would walk up to the fireplace, rest his elbow on the mantle and go "the stockings were hung by the chimney with care..." and then they would refilm it if it wasnt perfect) and we were dying laughing watching them. I love getting to spend time with my coworkers like that when we are having fun and people arent being douchy. Even co-irker was fun to be with lastnight! I drank a little too much so I feel blah this morning.
I am getting my birthday dinner tonight (i made a big stink about how everyone else in the family gets birthday dinners and I get the shaft because mine is on christmas - christmas dinner is NOT my choice of my birthday dinner so I should get another!) and its steaks and lobster! mmmmmmm!!

That was my club board, and I left as soon as Pivko was named MOD. I just couldn't stand how much AW she added to the board, and knew it would triple as MOD.
Good morning! I'm off to work in a bit, but we're having a friend over for dinner, and we're going to grill some brats. I know, it's December, but H's parents gave us a really nice grill on Thanksgiving (they went from 2 houses to one), and H's grandma sent us Omaha Steak stuff for Christmas.

Good morning! The only thing officially on my agenda for today is getting Christmas gifts shipped out to my family and DH's sister. Everyone else is local, so we have a bit more time to finish making and wrapping theirs.

Morning. I'm in a funk. Our squirrel rescue didn't make it last night. For a little guy I only knew three days, I'm extremely sad about this. I hand-fed him and everything and thought he had a chance. Add to that, our landlord shot a raccoon yesterday because it was about to attack him (he was hanging around the past few days, would charge you rather than run away, and was out in broad daylight, so he was probably sick) and I don't like seeing two animal deaths in one day. H has the *** in a cooler because he's going to skin it. It all just bums me out, probably moreso than it should.

I'm going to go read pivko's freakout now, then go grocery shopping. Tomorrow is Christmas with my dad's side of the family so I'm making my delicious chili dip.
Good morning ladies. I feel bad that I wasn't here yesterday for the SS reveal but I did let DJ know this morning that I was her SS. I don't know who mine was but I need to properly thank her as her gift was awesome and made me SO happy!
Yesterday, H lost his job. It is going to be very awkward as we worked together with only 7 other people so naturally everyone was staring at me and coddling me after he left. Which is a very nice sentiment, don't get me wrong, but I'm one of those people who starts crying when someone asks if I'm okay. Really could not be worse timing with the holidays and closing on the house this week.
