Yeah, I hate crocs too, but I need some super comfy shoes to dance in, lol. I stooped to a new low....

first of all, get some of these:

 

It doesn't feel squishy when you touch it (which is what I always thought = comfort, but what you actually need is support), they are awesome.

second, look for leather.  You may have to pay a little more, but in general it's much more comfortable.

third, at the end of the night your feet are kind of bound to hurt, to bring flats in your purse and/or in the car so you can take the heels off the second your night is over!

Did you notice this about the sole?

Durable TR (Thermoplastic Rubber) outsole provides resilience and traction for long-lasting quality ? can be resoled.

If you're going dancing (not at a club, but at a real studio) you'll want something with leather soles. It's easier to dance in. 

I'd check a dance store for real dance shoes.

this. get something with leather, it'll stretch and breathe and be more comfortable. and definitely bring a small pair of flats (i have fold-able flats that fit in my clutch), so you can switch as necessary.
