Ordering pics locally

Where do you print your pictures taken professionally? My photographer suggests MPIX for online ordering and I think Christian Photos if no time for online. Is there really a difference between Christian and Walgreen's or similar places? I was without my laptop for awhile so couldn't get it done when I could would have had time to order online. Now I need to get them to finish up Christmas for my FIL and the other IL's since we are headed down there. TIA

Re: Ordering pics locally

  • There is a big difference. Walgreens is just mass printing vs a professional printer will catch make sure the colors are the right color and high quaility. You can also check out Univeristy Photo for local prints.

  • I am always disappointed with the Walgreens in Ames. The pics turn out dark. I use Shutterfly or Photo Synthesis in Ames and am much happier with both.
