Re: Kim Jong-Il is dead.
Aww man.

M said the same thing. His first words "this isn't good."
Lets hope everyone's wrong about this kid and he's not as crazy as they say.
I think several of them are, but he picked the most unstable one as his successor.
Those of you in Korea, my thoughts are with you tonight!

My DH actually thanked god that he will be retired in the next 6 months. The son is worse than the father...
DH doesnt see this as anything but a bad thing.
I haven't been following along too closely, but in this case I hope that you're right.
LOL.
H was there last year through the thanksgiving attack and christmas threat (I flew in the day of the christmas hooplah, so that was nerve wracking for my gramma and irritating for me since h couldn't meet me). He says he'd be pretty puckered right now if he were still there. He was actually half surprised he didn't get called in to work.
Wasn't last year's attack and subsequent threats largely thought to be a power struggle? That either it was to push the son so that people and generals supported him or that the generals wanted to make him look bad and be discredited? Either way, it was a sign of infighting.
