VA's white Xmas
So my entry for random IN experience of the day:
I had a mtg scheduled in greece. The timing sucks and I tried to get out of it, but no dice . So I show up at 5am at the Naples airport. Naples to Greece by way of Munich. Yeah. Anyway, get to Munich and get a frantic call, meetings cancelled. Ok.
Should be a flt bk, or at least a Rome connection,right?! Wrong. Nada until 730pm.
Would a FML be totally whiney at this point?

Ironically, I almost spelled whine 'wine'. 2 mini gluwheins and a med lager into it. I did ditch the airport for a couple hrs in favor of the Christmas markets. No must haves, but it at least kept me vaguely sober... I mean 14hr in an airport... I could have driven (minus the gluwhein, of course)

Oh so glad you got out of the airport but I'm super jealous that you got to go to a Christmas market--I want to go so badly! I saw Athens on a 12 hour layover! Ditched the airport, took the train into town, did the Acropolis, ate spanikopita, and bought some shoes! Sometimes layovers are good
