best: going out saturday night with some friends from my old station....we haven't been out in AGES, and i had so much fun!!
worst: realizing i have like 5 days to finish shopping and wrap ALL my presents...and i've got stuff going on the next 3 days. EEEEEEP!
My Shopping Blog
best - made an awesome dinner and sat by the fire with DH last night. We got to see DHs aunt + uncle who are awesome.
worst - driving all over GA and back to visit FIL for Xmas on Sat/Sun and it just brings DH down. His dad really liked the gifts we got him and wore an Epcot tshirt we gave him on Sun so that was nice. He's just in a rough place but the best place for his healthcare. Its always a difficult visit. Then DH saw something on his Dad's iPad that made him upset (complaints from 30 years ago).

Best: Shaved off 6 minutes in the 5k I ran on Saturday. I also went Christmas shopping with my Dad for my Mom. We had a great time and my mom is going to be so excited.
Worst: Last year I got my Mini cooper for Christmas. Yesterday was it's anniversary of me having it a year and it has a leaking motor mount. So sad.
Best: An awesome finale to our fall bike race series. The Board of Director's President's wife presenting us with custom coffee mugs with the series logo and our names on them as thank you gifts. Having a fun race myself and hanging out with everyone afterwards.
Worst: DH was out of town most of the weekend, not getting as much done around the house as I wanted to. Still can't find the perfect sweater for DH for Xmas, and I doubt I will between now and Friday.

Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Best - I am officially finished with shopping! I just have a few small items to wrap and that's it. My hair got a much-needed trim too.
Worst - DH has a bit of a cold. Of course, he thinks he's terribly sick. I haven't heard him sneeze or cough once. We sat around and did nothing all day on Sunday, which is good, but I wanted to run some errands.
Best: I guess the pre-party get together at our house, and DH's work party was pretty fun. At least from what I remembered
. DH said I was fine, just talkative.
Worst: The next days hangover. (if you are going to drink, make sure you EAT! You would think I would be old enough to know this by now.)
Best: Getting to spend Sunday with my mom's family who I don't see much these days.
Worst: Riding 5 hours home from Statesboro with my parents who are getting battier by the day.
