I had a super busy weekend! But it was great!
Friday night I had a great time hanging out with Mara and Mere for the Nestie GTG!
Saturday I did laundry, went to the mall (DH needed to find me a gift, lol) then went to a Holiday/1st birthday party for a friend and then from there to DH's company holiday party!
Sunday I had brunch with DH and then we went back out shopping and got the rest of the stuff he needed for xmas! I also wrapped all of the presents that I have around the house!

Friday - had to bail on the GTG because of horrific traffic. boooo. It is so hard to get all the way to the west side from Troy sometimes.
Saturday - FI and I went to GR to celebrates Christmas with my dad and step mom. Overall, it was a very nice time, with no incidents involving my brother and his FI. FI and I got a few small things that we asked for, as well as a medium-sized fire saffe (which we also asked for) for our important documents and computer backups, etc.
Sunday - FI and I spent the best day relaxing on the couch, doing pretty much nothing. Love it!
Friday- I hung out at home, cleaning, hanging out with DH
Saturday- I went shopping with my mom, sister and 2 cousins, went to dinner at Chili's with DH and 3 friends of ours for my b-day, then we went to Zingerman's for dessert and they came back to our place to hang out.
Sunday- Church, I directed the youth group Christmas play which went really well!!! Helped my 8 month pregnant friend unpack some things at her new apartment, went to my sisters and celebrated my birthday with my family!
I did random errands all weekend.I tried on bridesmaid dresses and wrapped presents/organized. I also hung curtains. Now I just need to put up the darn tree before Christmas gets here.
Friday - took my sister's Chinese friend out to make some American friends
Saturday - helped at a children's Christmas play then sat home alone while DH was at work and started falling asleep around 8pm
Yesterday - had the best date ever. We woke up and exchanged some Christmas gifts early (because I'm super impatient and kept staring at the tree), he took me to get a massage (and read a book I got him while he was in the waiting room), then we ate frozen yogurt and cupcakes, saw The Sitter, went out to dinner, went bowling, and finally came home to make fudge. It was super nice and a heck of a lot of fun.
OH and when we went bowling - we played 6 games - and in one of the games I bowled FOUR strikes. I only scored 104, but still, that's GOOD for me so shut up.
And I remembered why I don't go out to the movies often anymore... it's so expensive and it's just nice to be able to be at home with your own treats/snacks and pause the movie if you have to pee! However, I liked getting out the house and going out to the movies seems more like a date than staying in anyway.
Fri: couldn't do the GTG since I didn't have a babysitter, boo! DH came home & we went out to for a late dinner
Sat: picked my mom up fromt he hospital since my dad had to take my aunt to the airport at the same time. At night I had a retreat gathering of gals that we shared 2 rooms together at our women's retreat in Sept.
Sun: church, lunch at Family Buggy in F.H. since they are closing Jan. 8th, did some errands at 8pm when the stores weren't as crowded
Friday- GTG was great!
Saturday- not too much. Dh did most of the work.
Sunday- tried a new church out--- at which my 18 month old lurched in my arms, grabbed the holy water bowl and spilled it all over us and the floor. EMBARRASSING. I finally painted the last small wall in the living room so I'm done painting that.
Nice, boring, laid back weekend!

Losing it...Without Losing it
Went to the English Inn in Eaton Rapids - wow! So fun. Followed that up with the Potter Park Zoo. Also, amazing.
That was my weekend! WOOO!
PLUS Christmas shopping which is pretty much D-O-N-E!
