I'm babysitting all day, there's snow so we'll probably play outside in the snow and bake christmas cookies. Tonight I'll go to the gym and maybe bake some more 
. I don't start my Christmas vacation until Friday, when we leave for Venice.
QOTD: I asked this question because DH is a watch maker and ever since moving to Switzerland I've noticed more people wear watches here than in the US (not a surprise!=).
DH works for Swatch and I have too many watches now, but today I'm wearing the new pink Swatch Touch (DH's personal project). I have a lot, but I usually wear this one or a white gold Tissot.

I don't like having things on my wrists so I don't wear a watch. H has a few. He usually wears a stainless steel Certina. I want to get him a really nice one as a surprise for his promotion though. I have my eye on a vintage Rolex with leather straps. I don't know if I'm going to be able to talk myself into it though.
Morning! I'm ready for xmas vacation! Only 3 days left! woohoo! I'm watching the baby today and going to a playgroup. Weirdly enough, I made a friend at playgroup and she, her husband and her baby joined us on Saturday for a little christmas party with other friends. I was so excited to have a new friend there!

I worked today and H had off. He makes me feel like such a slacker. On HIS day off he finished our head board and installed it and cleaned the house. On MY day off, I slept until 10, went to the doctors and did laundry. I guess laundry was somewhat productive, yes?
I have a Skaken that I used to wear everyday, but since it isn't waterproof, it's a no go at my current job. I'm looking at a very nice waterproof Seiko at the moment.
H, well he has quite the watch collection going. To replace it them here would be so much $$, they go into the "cyclone pack the valuables" column.

Good morning, I am working today and going out with my boss, his GF and my DH tonight. We are also social friends so that shuold be fun. DH and I also have a doctor's appointment. I am looking forward to a quiet day at work, yesterday I realised two external emails.

Good morning ladies. I just got into work and need to go down and grab some breakfast. Should be a busy morning, and then we're taking off for the afternoon for our team holiday lunch.
I'll be working the rest of the week, and next week too. We decided not to take any time off for the holiday this year, since with the public holidays we already get a 4 day weekend, and the office should be fairly slow next week.
QOTD: I do. I wear a Movado watch that DH gave me about 5 years, and I still love it - although it took some getting used to the blank face with no numbers or anything!

Good morning. Work day for me. Might do a bit of Christmas shopping after work this evening and we need to get grocery shopping done at some stage, though that may be tomorrow afternoon rather than today... we'll see!
QOTD: I have 2 watches. One is a cheapy plastic bracelet watch which I got while on maternity leave so that N wouldn't get scratched with the other one I have. The other one, which I wear in work all the time but rarely at the weekends is a DKNY and I love it's simplicity - stainless steel and the watch face is the same width as the bracelet so the only thing that's not "in line" is the adjuster. And it was a figt from DH a few years ago...
DH has a watch but he doesn't really like wearing it!

Morning! I'm so not feeling work anymore. Friday is my last day before maternity leave and I've just about finished everything I have to do. I have two meetings today, but otherwise I'll be cleaning out my desk, I suppose.
I'm excited because last night I bought H and I tickets to see a Christmas panto! I've never been to one. We're going to see *** Whittington with Dame Edna. Should be fun.

Morning! Another busy day at work trying to wrap things up! Luckily, we're off Thursday, so it's a short week! Then as of Thursday, I'm on holiday!We'll be on vacation from Thursday until Jan 2, and I'm ready for a break!
QOTD: I used to wear a Guess watch that DH bought for my birthday a few years ago, but the links keep breaking. So currently I'm wearing a cheapie watch from Claire's. I've asked for a Fossil watch for Christmas....we'll see if that happens!

Morning! Today I'm meeting up with a British woman I met at a La Leche League meeting a few weeks ago. She lives pretty close to me so hopefully we'll have a good time.
I may also have to go grocery shopping though I'm hoping to avoid this.
QOTD: Nope, I haven't worn a watch since maybe 2000 when Baby G's were all the rage (yes, I'm that young). I had a blue one and I loved it. Anyway, since I stopped wearing that one the only thing I wear on my wrist is a hair tie and my cell phone acts as a watch. H doesn't wear watches either.
Morning! Still waiting for baby. In the meantime I think I may have got some things straightened out with our electric bill that I've been meaning to do, including understanding my off peak hours. I have an area rug hopefully arriving today, some laundry going, and some xmas presents to wrap.
QOTD: It took me awhile to start wearing a watch as I teach deaf children so they can be distracting so I have to be selective. I also have tiny wrists. I have 2 skagen watches, one that I wear when working. I like the flat profile and the style of the band. Hubby is obsessed with watches and if I would let him and we had the money, he would buy many.

I've been busy showing my brother around town.
Got out for a run this morning and this afternoon I'm bringing M to a classmate's house for a Christmas party.
QOTD: My ILs gave me a men's stainless steel Piaget for our wedding. I love it but don't wear it too often now that I have a kid. I'm scared to damage it.
I have a ton of errands to run today, and prepping for Christmas dinner to do. MIL made the meal to be epic proportions, and I'm the only one cooking (she doesn't cook "western" food). I really don't want to have a full cooking marathon after we have our little family Christmas morning just the three of us.
QOTD: I don't wear a watch anymore. I had a small Casio with metal links, but it broke. DH wears his Casio Edifice watch when we're going out somewhere, but rarely at home.
Good afternoon ladies. Yes, I just woke up at 10 am here, but I haven't slept like that in months!! Really I think I got a full 8 hours (with only 2 pee breaks). I feel awesome. Sleep really does somehting to your outlook on life.
Today I am cleaning the house and running a couple errands. Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah so I'm cooking a great Hanukkah dinner for the hubs tonight too.

Still working. As luck would have it, I have a work project due, wait for it, on 12/25/11. SWEET (I was notified on 12/15). It's cool, I'll finish b/c regular work is pretty quiet.
QOTD: Yes, I can't stand to be with my watch. I sleep and shower with it. TMI, I know. Anyway, it's just a regular ol' stainless steel number (so I can wear it constantly), Citizen eco-drive (b/c God forbid the battery die and I have to be w/o it).
