Title edited - need a NYE babysitter in Pearland/Friendswood?
We have a friend who hosts an annual NYE party. She sends out save the dates in October and every year my babysitter is already booked and we haven't made it. So I booked her in September this year... and my friend isn't having the party!
Any Pearlanders or Friendswooders need an excellent babysitter?

Oh no! This late in the month it's def best for you to plan your own gtg. That's what DH and I decided to do. We do not like spending the big bucks for a crowded place with a rinky little hat or noise maker.
So yesterday, we decided that we are having dinner at Americas then a gtg at our place. You are welcome to join us; we are in the Heights, not sure if you wanna come all the way over. Anyway, we just decided to do this yesterday so I am still trying to work out all the kinks. But at this point I rather have a fun game night or whatever in my casa then anywhere else.
Thanks JMO - that is super nice of you!
Pook - I tried that. Killens has late reservations that night and a super reasonably priced menu.
DH and I are ho humbugs I think because we are so used to house parties and don't get on the roads with the amateurs on NYE. Or maybe we are just drunks because we are used to house parties where you can stay over. =D
We decided to invite my bff and her family over and they will stay the night so they aren't on the road with kids. I let the babysitter know and she said no worries about cancelling, but I do NOT feel right about that. If she goes without a gig and doesn't let me pay her, it will ruin my holidays and I told her so.
(So if I don't hear confirmation from her that she has another gig I'm taking her overnight fee to her house on NY day. She is too good of a babysitter - and person in general - to burn less than 2 weeks from the planned date and I know she made herself unavailable to others since I contacted her first).
So if anyone in Pearland/Friendswood is needing a sitter, let me know! (I'm hoping she books up fast though).
