Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Recommend your digital camera

We are in the market for a new digital camera. Here are our criteria:

* between $100-$150

* brand that is known for good quality

* 8+ megapixels

* preferably has that sweeping picture mode to get a panorama picture

* small in size

Please recommend yours :)

  • I'm not sure if it has the panorama feature, but I love the Canon Powershot series.  I've owned several brands on point & shoots and Canon is by far the best.

  • I love my Canon Powershot also.  I've had it since 2008 and have had zero problems.  It takes fantastic pictures and is user friendly.  I had a Nikkon before that which took great pictures, but it was a solid 5 count between hitting the button and the camera actually taking the picture.  The Canon was less expensive and I'm much happier with it.
  • I have a Nikon Coolpix that does the job pretty well...
