The other day I shared a fabric bag that I made. I really loved the bag - but really hated the fabric. I wanted to give the bag as a gift, so I just knew I was going to remake her one. I was also making one for another gift, so I knew I would be busy!
I really love these two. I still think they both need something in the front - so I will probably add a button or clip or something.
The second and third were so much faster than the first one too! I wish the pleats were more visable, you can see them in person.
I loved this fabric (below) the second I saw it. I knew I would make a bag for myself as well. But - it is a shower curtain!!!! LOL. I will have enough of this for MANY MANY bags
I think the next bag that I make, I will try to put the handles on the outside, I think that will fancy it up ![]()
Then I made a reversable apron. I wanted something a little nicer than a basic apron. Lesson learned - aprons are hard to take pictures of lol

I did a search for (I think) flirty apron, and a bunch came up. In the end - I used this one:

I just happened to have similar fabrics in my stash

Thanks for all the compliments - I have been so busy, and I am not done yet.
Next year, I am starting my gift crafting in June lol

Have you check out the hardware section at Joanns? They have some cool D rings and other metal shaped pieces to add to bags. They also carry magnetic bag closures, that work great. If you want to add some more flare to the bag structure next time around.
Also Pellon has some stiffer fusible products for bags. I love that stuff! Anyway welcome to a whole new sewing addiction! :P
