It's my Friday
It's going to be a great day.
Re: Thursday Randoms
It's my Friday too!! And I have Mon and Tues off as well!! Woohooooo!
I have a GIANT grocery trip to do today, and Ben is being a whiny brat already this morning. I have to shop for Christmas Eve and Day dinner stuff, plus 3 other days of food for 8 adults and 2 kids. I. Am. Dreading. It.
Awww. man, I wish I was home today. I would take Ben off your hands for a couple of hours. I went grocery shopping with the girls this time of year last year and it sucked. My advice is go as soon as you can. I tried to leave early last year, but by the time I got there it was already close to 10 am and crazy. Bring plenty of snacks with you for Ben.
Haha. Too funny.
Tennyson only cries when I pick him up.
I'm glad he has fun, but come on.
YAY for Fridays! My DH has Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off as well. Good luck Freeburger...I have to go grocery shopping AND a Target run today. Should be "great".
Sorry to hear Renee is crying when getting dropped off Wop. That must be hard.
The last few days Noah has been saying what sounds like "OOOHHHHHH Sh!t....OOOHHHH Sh!t" It is so funny when we are at home, but I am a little worried about him pulling that one out at Christmas mass.
It can't be worse than when my brother flipped the priest off at the sign of peace. Yup....my mom said that he learned it since he would wave to the kids walking home from the bus stop and they would flip him off. My poor brother thought that was a way of saying hi...so when the priest waved to him at the Sign of Peace.....my Bro flipped him off!!! My mom was mortified!
Hahahaha. Too funny. I hope he keeps quiet until you get to the car.
He he. "Yes, Noah, ocean. The ocean has lots of fish."
The story of your brother is hilarious.
Lately, I have been more of a night owl. My grocery shopping trip will be at 10 tonight. I hit Target at 10ish a couple nights ago, very peaceful and relaxed!
I've been the opposite. I hit the grocery store at the crack of dawn. Renee gets up between 6:00-7:00 am anyway, so if I'm awake, I might as well go shopping before most people. It's usually me and the old folks at Meijer at 6:30. Haha.
Super early grocery shopping is awesome. I miss getting a coffee and beating the crowds. I wish I could drag myself out of bed when my 6:15 alarm goes off. I just can't seem to do it.
We are getting the girls tonight through Christmas Eve. I cant wait to see their eyes Christmas Eve morning.
I too do early morning Meijer Trips. It's on my way home from dropping SS off at the bus. It nice to shop with out the other hassle of people and I get to know the staff that works their during that time. I've had to make a few extra trips with SS being on vacation and eating 3 meals here.
You SAH, right? Why in the world is your alarm set for 6:15? lol.
This totally made my day.
Does she still have all of that hair, or did it thin out? I love her head of hair in your photo.
I am too. This week has dragged on. Tomorrow we are having our lil office party where we get lunch from somewhere and exchange gifts.
It's all still there! It's super long too and in her eyes. I don't want to cut it, but I can't find any kind of hair clip to stay in her hair. I've tried 5-6 different kinds. I did find one awesome kind, but it was kind of small, and I didn't want her to put it in her mouth and choke on it.
So this weekend, I found a great deal on Amazon that I couldn't pass up for the girls, so I placed the order. Yesterday, I went to get the mail and there were two boxes on my front porch. I thought it was strange, but I couldn't open the boxes since the girls were right there. Later when I opened them I discovered om one of the boxes was a Kindle Fire.
I double checked my credit card and Amazon account and there is no record of a Kindle.
So...what would you do? Keep it and use it right away, keep it but don't take it out of the box for a few weeks until you are sure that they aren't going to request it be sent back, contact Amazon and tell them you didn't order one.
I'd keep it, but maybe keep it in the box incase they charge my account for it. If they do charge it, I'd return it. Score I guess.
Or you could sell it to a nest friend for cheap
Also a fan of 7 am grocery shopping here! :-)
Today is also my Friday. We packed everything last night - except we made one poor planning mistake. We have an 11 hour layover in Australia on Xmas Day. We kind of planned it that way so we could get out and explore Brisbane for a day and break up the trip a little bit.
However, we learned yesterday that if you are on a layover longer than 7 hours you need a visa to leave the airport. It's normally free, but to get a last minute one online we have to pay $20. Grrr.
And they were both addressed to you?
I guess my major worry is that it was supposed to be delivered to someone else - and now they don't have it but it says it was delivered. I think I'd probably call Amazon and ask about it, personally.
Personally, I'd feel guilty keeping it and I'd call Amazon and let them know what happened.
Bummer. I assume you're going to get the visas anyway? Will there be much open in Brisbane on Christmas day?
Your trip is going to be awesome! I can't wait to read updates.
Yep, it was addressed to me (i. I was going to bring the slip with me to work today so I would email them but left it at home.
When I posted this on Facebook, someone said I was the second person they heard of this happening to just this week. Maybe they are giving out free samples.
